In the narrow alleyways of a crowded neighborhood, a panic-stricken woman clutched a little girl tightly as she ran.

The girl held onto the woman, her wide, tear-filled eyes brimming with fear.

Even so, she did not cry—she did not want to worry her mother.

"Pick up the phone! Please! Pick up the phone!

"Matthias, this is the last time I'll trust you. You're our last hope! Please, pick up!"

Leona Whitney desperately dialed a number on her phone as she constantly glanced over her shoulder.

Danielle Lowell's voice was hopeful as she asked, "Mommy, is Daddy coming to save us?"

"Dani, your dad will definitely come to save us!" Leona said, though she still had not managed to reach the man.

"Damn bitch! How dare you run away with that little bastard child again!"

A furious shout suddenly echoed from behind them.

Leona's face turned pale at the sound, and Danielle instinctively curled up, tears streaming down her cheeks.

The man's tone was vicious as he continued shouting, "Stop right there! Don't make this harder on yourself. No one in St. Merilo would dare help you! Using that bastard child's life to secure a bright future for the Whitney family is an honor for both of you!"

He was backed by several guards and quickly closed in on the mother and daughter.

"Jermaine, please! Let Dani go. She's only three, and she doesn't understand anything. She hasn't even had a chance to see the world!" Leona pleaded.

She was overwhelmed with fear and helplessness, hugging her beloved daughter tightly.

By then, the pursuers had surrounded them.

Even though she was scared, Danielle mustered the courage and said, "Uncle Jay, I'll go with you. Just please, don't hurt Mommy."

Jermaine Whitney was Leona's younger brother, and he spat in disdain when he heard Danielle calling him uncle.

"Uncle? Who do you think you are? You're just a bastard child!

"Take them away. We'll send her to the hospital tonight for the procedure!"

"No! Please, Jermaine, you can't do this! Dani is so young; she won't survive!"

Leona was frantic, desperately trying to dodge the men closing in on them.

"Hello?"

Just then, Leona's call was connected, and she immediately shouted into the phone.

"Matthias, save our precious daughter! Please save her! You told me to call this number if I was ever in danger. This is the last time I'll trust you. I hope you won't let me down! I have no other choice, no other way."

Matthias Lowell was on the battlefield, having just led his team to victory against the Night Force, the world's most formidable power.

When he turned on his phone, he saw a call from someone he had been worried about for three years.

He immediately answered the call, only to be greeted by a woman's desperate, helpless voice.

"Matthias, I beg you! I hope what you said back then was true. I've asked everyone for help, but no one dares to save Dani. She's going to die!" Leona shouted between tears.

"Damn it! You fucking bitch! Who are you calling? Hang up the phone now!" Jermaine's angry voice suddenly interrupted from the other side.

"Stay away! Don't come any closer! Matthias! Matthias, come back and save Dani, hurry! No! Don't hit me! Matthias! Matthias!"

"Mommy! Don't hit my mommy! Daddy, hurry back and save Mommy!"

The call ended abruptly, and the beeping sound filled the silence.

Matthias instantly crushed the phone in his hand!

An overwhelming fury erupted from him, and his men were stunned to see his sudden change in demeanor.

What had happened?

"Argh!" Matthias roared to the sky, his eyes turning bloodshot.

Then, he grabbed his nearest man and shouted, "New Avalbourne! Get me to New Avalbourne as fast as possible!"

The man Matthias grabbed was terrified; he froze.

He had never seen Matthias like that!

"Your Lordship..."

"St. Merilo in New Avalbourne! I need to get to St. Merilo right now!" Matthias screamed, his face contorted with rage, hot tears streaming from his crimson eyes.

Everyone on the battlefield was shocked.

Matthias was crying!

The man Matthias had grabbed was jolted awake, and he quickly noted the urgency.

He spun around and shouted to those around him, "Why are you just standing there? Didn't you hear Lord Matthias? We've already defeated our enemies. Get the fastest plane ready now! We must immediately escort Lord Matthias to St. Merilo in New Avalbourne! Go! Hurry!"

The Legion of the Unbreakable members scattered across the battlefield, desperately searching for planes to get Matthias to New Avalbourne as fast as possible.

At that moment, Matthias stood atop a hill, his body trembling as tears streamed down his face.

His closest allies looked on, torn between sympathy and fury.

Matthias was a figure of terror and strength; that was his first time showing such a vulnerable side.

It could only mean that the call had dealt him a crushing blow!

Rumbling sounds filled the air as dozens of the most advanced planes in the world landed on the hilltop.

Before the plane fully touched down, Matthias rushed inside like a flash of light.

The plane shot into the sky, leaving a vapor trail as it disappeared among the clouds.

After him, hundreds of other planes followed, forming a formidable sight.

Inside the plane, Matthias clenched his teeth. His body shook uncontrollably as he continued to weep.
