Her childish nature is annoying

My eyes widened in shock as I saw what I just accidentally did, my eyes went round as I quickly withdrew my hands from her butt. My cheek burned with embarrassment, as I stared at her. She stood rooted on the same spot due to what just happened. I couldn't understand what just happened, and I could tell she wasn't pleased with what I just did. Well who would even be pleased with that? Heck she would just think I am a pervert or something. 

 I bit my lips as I tried to form the word sorry out of my mouth, there was awkward silence between us and I couldn't tell if she was angry with me.

 "I'm sorry I didn't mean to, it was unintentional." I apologized as I bowed my head in embarrassment, I couldn't look at her face. I couldn't believe my hand just touched her butt.

 "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" I apologized again with my head bowed but she didn't reply. What am I even thinking? Do I think she will reply to me after what I just did? She will think of me as a pervert which I don't want. 

 "Why did you stopped me? '' she asked as she straightened her clothes trying to distract herself from what was happening. I knew she didn't want to probe further about what just happened so she didn't push any further. I could feel my hands shaking with nervousness, and I bowed my face trying to avoid seeing her eyes which I knew will be filled with anger by now.

 I quickly dipped my hands into my pocket, taking out my wallet and I took my company card out of the wallet. I handed it to her without looking at her face because I couldn't bring myself to look at her. 

 If I had known it would result in this then I would have not wanted to call her back but I wanted to help her. I don't know why I suddenly have the urge to help her, and now I have landed myself into a deep mess because I wanted to help her. I just hope she can forget about this, and I hope she does real quick because I don't want her to see me as a pervert. 

 I had always known my stand with girls and had hardly had any misunderstanding with them except when I was little. I know I had a lot of misunderstanding with my mum but that doesn't count because she was looking out for me. I had always done things opposite to what she wanted. 

 Now back to present, I gave the card to her after a while, and she collected it with a frown on her face. Her head was tilted backwards as she stared at me. I could see the confusion in her eyes as she stared at the card and back to him.

 "Ohh, that's a company card. You can also apply for a job there, it's also huge." I said with a smile trying to ease the atmosphere around the place and I did. She pouted at the tone I used, I had just mimicked the way she was talking earlier.

 "Thank you for this. I will tell my friend before applying for the job" She said and I nodded with a shrug.

She walked out of the car and I stared at her. Why don't I ask her if I can take her to where she is going, and I don't think it will be a good idea but I wanted to help so I tried my luck hoping she will accept.

 "Where are you heading to? I can give you a lift." I asked politely, and she rolled her eyes with a giggle. I frowned at her, why is she giggling when I asked her about giving a lift.

"I don't need that," she said and I furrowed my brows completely trying to comprehend what she was talking about.

 "Why are you laughing?" I questioned and she smiled at me before replying.

 "I don't need that, moreover I can get to anywhere within a second with just a snap of my fingers." She replied childishly and I rolled my eyes at her. I'm done with her childish behavior, it's really annoying anytime she talks like that. This is not some kind of movie, this is reality we are talking about.

 She also said she wanted to heal herself when she pierced the gem in her hand but what she doesn't know is that she will get herself more injured. My heart skips a bit as I thought it was the accident that caused her to be reacting like this. I raised my eyebrows as I stared at her. 

 "Stop joking around, if you need a ride I will gladly take you to your destination." I said and she smiled at me cutely.

 "Thank you for what you have done for me today. I don't need the ride because my house is nearby only." She replied and I heaved a sigh of relief with a frown not believing what she just said.

 "Thank you for the card, I will think of joining the company later." She said and I smiled at her but it changed to embarrassment when I remembered what happened not too long. 

 "It's time for me to go home." she said and I nodded her head.

 "Bye, see you later." I said as I shrugged my shoulders.

 "Bye," she said and smiled at her, she closed the door of the car. She walked away from the car not without waving at me, and I sighed heavily as I reached for the cup of coffee which was on the car seat. I placed the tip of the cup on my lips, and a frown was itched on my face. I had forgotten that I didn't drink much of the coffee which was in the cup, and it has become cold now.

 I sipped a little amount of the coffee and I stared at that direction she just took but I couldn't find her at that spot. My eyes widened in shock and I quickly gulped the entire content of the cup. 

 I couldn't see her and it's not barely up to a minute for her to walk a king distance walk but even if she indeed walked a long distance walk I would have seen her but I didn't which I found weird. I dropped the empty cup on the car seat with a frown, and I arranged my clothes before I continued driving. 

 Shortly I arrived at the company, and I parked the car at the garage. I alighted from the car with the black briefcase I brought while coming that morning. I walked into the company after adjusting my clothes, and I frowned my face as I entered the company.

 "Good morning, Sir" the staff chorused immediately. They set their eyes on me but I ignored their greetings offering them a small smile.

 I saw my secretary walk up to me with a casual smile on her face, she greeted me but I ignored her, offering her a smile like I always do. All my staff have gotten used to me not responding to their greetings but instead I always offer them a smile.

 "What is my schedule for today?" I questioned as I collected a file from her while handing my briefcase to her which she collected.

 "You are having a meeting with the board members at exactly 8:40 am," she said with a pause and I hummed in response urging her to continue.

 "You are having a meeting with the CEO of…" she was saying but I cut her short.

 "You should send the schedule to my office, it's almost time for the meeting" I said as I walked away from her with the file still in my hands. I walked into the elevator after pressing the button which would take me to the fifth floor.

 I walked into my office hurriedly as I took some necessary documents I will be needing in the office, and soon I walked out of my office heading toward the room where the board members are waiting for me. I checked my wristwatch and a sigh escaped my mouth when I saw I was five minutes late.

 I opened the door to the room where the board members were, and when I entered they all turned their attention on me.

"Good morning" I greeted with a curt bow, and they all stared at me keenly with a frown on their faces.

 "Good morning Mr Smith, you are a few minutes late from the scheduled time" one of the board members said and I sighed knowing I'm in for another rant from them.

 After an hour I walked out of the conference room sweating profusely, and my head was pounding heavily. I walked into my office, and I sighed tiredly as I met the pile of work on my table.

 I took a file from the table and started filling the required spaces, and when I was done I tossed it aside. I took a file which contained all my schedule for that day and found out that it isn't today. I was going to recruit an assistant.. I had thought it was today so I had woken up earlier than before.
