Ian immediately went to drive the car over.

"I'm fine, really. I just need to rest a couple of days at home. Please don't worry about me. You've got stuff to do, so go ahead and take care of it," Xavier said, his face filled with concern for Quinn.

"We don't have time for this. We're going to the hospital right now."

Even if there were no apparent injuries, getting hit by a car could cause internal injuries.

Ian pulled up, got out, and opened the door for both of them.

"Come on, Xav, let's go to the hospital," Ian said as he reached out to help him get into the car.

However, Xavier swatted his hand away to reject his assistance. "I'm alright. I can manage on my own." Despite saying that, he still weakly slumped against Quinn.

Quinn had no choice but to help them into the car.

Ian was rendered speechless. He wondered if Xavier was actually injured.

As soon as they were in the car, Xavier leaned heavily against Quinn's shoulder, a look of discomfort etched on his face.
