Chapter 87

Quinn hated hospitals. They always reminded her of painful experiences.

"You take the bed; I'll be fine on the couch," Xavier said as he settled into the couch. As a gentleman, he felt it was only right to offer Quinn the bed.

"You should sleep in the bed. You're the patient here," Quinn insisted. One was sitting on the couch, while the other stood before it.

"You should get some rest now. You've had a long day."

After flying back from Dudore and working half a day, an unexpected incident had actually happened in the evening. "You take the bed, Xavier," Quinn insisted again.

"Alright then."

Given her stubbornness, Xavier had no choice but to sleep on the bed. Upon seeing Xavier obediently lying down on the bed, Quinn finally settled on the couch.

"If you feel any discomfort, be sure to call me. I'm going to sleep now."

With that, Quinn closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep, her tiredness finally overcoming her.
