Chapter 366

Quinn watched as the cigarette in her hand dwindled to a stub before she finally extinguished it in the ashtray.

As soon as they got to the restaurant, Gwendolyn was in the midst of ordering. Upon seeing them, she handed the menu to Xavier and said, "Is there anything else you'd like to order, Mr. Patterson?"

It was Gwendolyn's first time having a meal with Xavier, so she wasn't really sure about his preferences.

Xavier took the menu and added a couple of Quinn's favorite dishes to the order.

Upon noticing that Xavier had ordered all of Quinn's favorite dishes, Lisa began to feel uneasy. Although Xavier was exceptional in many respects, she couldn't ignore the risks associated with his background.

"I want to thank you again for yesterday, Mr. Patterson. If it hadn't been for you, something terrible might have happened to Quinny," Gwendolyn said. She was still feeling shaken by what had happened.
