At Edgar's words, Tom started begging Quinn for mercy. "Ms. Jowell, I made a mistake! I know where I've gone wrong now, so please let me go! We now know that we shouldn't have done this and won't do it again!

"Ms. Jowell, this is Jipsfort, not the borderlands. You can't just murder anyone at will here! You're better off handing us over to the police!"

He would rather be arrested than be left in Quinn's hands.

"It's just killing a few men. We can return to the borderlands after that." Edgar looked unfazed at the thought of murder. The men had to die for daring to lay a hand on Quinn.

"Don't worry, Ms. Quinn. I'll return to the borderlands after getting rid of them."

"Hand them over to the police. Remember this, Edgar—we're lawful citizens. We shouldn't talk about murder so flippantly." Quinn turned to leave.
