Summer's P.O.V

Being back home alone is amazing and comforting, Ava and I have been friends since forever, still I couldn't truly tell her how I feel. I feel bad for lying to her by telling her I was fine. I am not, I am angry, scared, betrayed, I couldn't tell her the truth cos I know she's going through her own stuffs.

"Ma'am, the meeting will be starting in 5 mins" Jasmine, my secretary's voice dragged me out of my thoughts.

"Ok, Thank you Jas, I'll be there. Are the partners here?" I asked as I stood up.

"Yes ma'am, they are in the boardroom waiting"She replied.

"Alright, Thank you" I said. we left my office and headed for the boardroom, Jasmine was filling me up on recent Market news.
