The ancient wolves had called Roman and I for a 'brief meeting' but there I was, staring blankly at them with no one saying anything.

I was supposed to be with my mate, Quinn but they just had to call for me so early. I hated the fact that I was in the same with my brother, Roman, especially knowing the fact that he was after my mate. I was very sure that his wolf did not draw for her, he was just trying to get at me.

But I won't let that happen, Quinn was my Luna and no one would take her away from me.

" We have postponed the day of the duel, it will occur in a month, " one of the ancient wolves said with a wide grin on his face. I was still trying to figure out if anybody had said anything funny that he had formed that ugly-looking grin.

From the way he had behaved, I was very sure that he was an associate of Roman, who also had a weird smile on his face.
