85. Forgive Each Other

“You don’t have to do anything. Because I will never forgive you for anything.” Caroline said with firmness. There was no hesitation at all in her words. The look in her eyes made it clear just how much hatred she had for Jared.

“God is all-forgiving. Why can’t you, as his servant, forgive the mistakes of another servant?” Jared still didn’t want to give up.

“That’s why I no longer believe in God. Because God was never there when I needed him. Where was God when my parents died? Where was God when I was abused? Where was God when all the hardships came my way? If God does exist, why doesn’t He ever help me? If God does exist, why doesn’t He give me even a little bit of happiness?” Caroline poured out her heart that she had been holding back all this time.
