Before Caroline could speak, Jared had delivered a hard punch right to Jake's face. The blow made Jake's embrace instantly dislodge.

Caroline almost slammed to the floor, but she was able to balance her body so that she didn't fall. The scariest thing for her right now was looking into Jared's face. Jared's face was lit up with rage and fire. The man threw another punch right into the face of his beloved nephew.
