10. Anthony's Death

"Honey, can you go to the hospital now?" Bonnie asked with a sob over the phone.

"I'm at work, Mom. What happened? Is Papa awake?" Caroline asked happily. Because, after being in a coma for three days, there was finally some progress.

Bonnie gave no answer. Her sobs broke out even more.

"Mommy?" Caroline began to panic. She started thinking all sorts of things after hearing her mother's sobs. All the bad possibilities started to run through her head. If everything was fine, her mother wouldn't be calling her with such sobs, especially during working hours.
