Chapter 166

George's POV

I held Keira's limp body in my arms, her blood seeping onto my suit. The sound of gunfire still echoed in my ears. Our engagement party, once filled with laughter and joy, had turned into a nightmare.

"Keira, no! Stay with me!" I pleaded, my voice shaking.

I rushed through the crowded hall, shoving aside panicked guests. Sirens blared outside, growing louder.

"Get the car!" I yelled at my assistant Mark

The hall had gone so chaoti, people.rushing out.

"We need to get her to the hospital now!" I yelled, tears forming in my eyes. I had no idea who I was yelling at but if I lose Keira, I'm gone.

Elena rushed us at the stage, tears in her eyes.

“Keira!” She cried, kneeling to grab her lifeless hand..

“The ambulance is here sir!” Mark announced and I scopped Keira in my arms.

“Please take care of Kelvin, please!” I pleaded with Elena and took Keira’s lifeless body with me.

I glanced down at Keira, her beautiful face pale and clammy. She'd taken the bullet meant for me. M
