II The Distant Dream

Running I had the chance to pick up the mop and saw when our gaps met, I tried to batter him with it. He’s strong. With just one hand, he grabbed the mop and threw it somewhere.

My eyes widened. I know that fear is now evident in my eyes. I guess I’m too busy to think about survival, so I tried to shrug my fear off and continue fighting him.

I ran into the open space and my adrenaline kicked in a lot of ways. I threw everything that I saw at him, but he just effortlessly nudged those things that were thrown at him.

Even in the dark, I saw how his eyes were intently staring at me. All of my distractions towards him are nothing because his motives are so clear.

I was already panting. The cold wind blew the sheer curtains, and even with that tiny bit of hindrance to his sight, his eyes remained the same. I gulped and looked around the tiny house. Damn, how will I escape this weirdo?

"Who the fvck are you?" I said with so much conviction. I am now leaning on the sink.
