The First Fall of Snow

Night came. What I heard from Ulva confused my mind even more. I told myself that I must have made up my mind to leave and move away, but the thought of leaving without saying goodbye made my heart ache.

Ulva was correct; I might be the key to breaking the curse that had been placed on Knight. But didn't they also say, that things are meant to happen? Is there anything I can do to make this all go away?

"We have to leave." Lucas said to me.

While Erin listens quietly, Ulva just looks at us seriously. My things are ready. The only thing waiting is our departure.

"It's fine. We can just leave tomorrow. " Erin consoled me.

She just thinks that I'm not well or that I might be waiting for Knight to come back or something. Little did she know that there was a bigger picture in that.

"The moon is high up. We have to leave as soon as possible." Lucas then contradicted Erin.

Erin glared at him, and he didn't even react to that. I sighed heavily and glanced at Ulva.

"Will you be staying here?"
