How it all began

"Kingston please,you are hurting me"Vida's voice was teary .Her wrist was beginning to redden as his grip tightened.His weight pinning her slender form to the cold hard wall was almost too painful to endure but struggling now could bring harmful results.Dangerous ones even.He left her waist to and held her face trying to kiss her making the towel she wrapped around herself fall , leaving her stack naked in front of Kingston.

The pained worsened as his grip tightened even more.He held her waist with his other hand and tried kissing her again while she turned her face else where .She was trying to get out of his grip but the more she tried,the more he got more angry.

Vida knew she had to do something.He had never been this out of control before.His grip this tight will definitely leave a bruise ,tighter would break her bones.

"K-b , leave me alone"She pushed him back with her free hand and finally he go off her.

Vida quickly ran to the washroom locking the door.Rubbing her hurting wrist as the tears rushed down her cheeks in torrent,she slumped to the floor.

"When had he become this much of a monster?.."

KINGSTON ASHFORD

I ran my hands through my hair as I remembered how I lost control.What have I done? I was forcing myself on her.

I looked at the floor and saw the white towel she wrapped around her body.Her supple skin ,how it felt holding her when she was naked .

Ohh my naughty thoughts.That's not the issue now.

"K-b,leave me alone "I recalled 

She called me K-b.Its being a while I was called K-b.For years ,when we were still best friends when I loved everything about her.

"Kingston"I heard from outside .It was mum.She must have heard Vida's voice .What have I done?

"mum,do you need anything"I asked from inside my room

"Kingston what are you guys still doing in there.Your food will get cold"Mum said

I came outside some seconds later.

"Good morning mum"I greeted.

"Morning Kingston,where is Vida?,are you alright?"She asked and I nodded.

"Come I prepared a special breakfast for you "she said and I followed her.

We got to the dinning table and mum served me

"Mum are you not eating?"Kingston asked I had no appetite,I just kept thinking about what happened with I and Vida just now.I tried to force myself on her.

I am a lot of things but ...Well I was indeed heartless when I allowed Caleb to have his way with her but I later sent Dylan to save her.I was blinded by my anger , I found out she lied to me.That everything about her was a lie,she took me for a fool.But yet I could not bear to see her hurt .

"No , I already had my breakfast"She said and I started eating,even if I played with the food.

"Morning Mum"I heard Vida say ,she sat down close opposite me and avoided looking at me and I just stared at her.I don't even know how to apologise for what I did.

VIDA 

My phone beeped and it was Cassandra texting me good morning and I also replied her and dropped my phone .

"Vida why is your wrist bruised"She said looking from me to Kingston.

"I..I fell"I stuttered.

"You fell?"She asked and scoffed.

"Kingston did you hurt your wife? Because I'm buying what Vida said"Mum said glaring at Kingston.

"I did not mean to ,it was a mistake"Kingston said ,I didn't expect Kingston to tell his mother the truth.I'm shocked that he admitted he hurt me.

"I raised you well ,I did not raise you to hurt women and most especially your wife"Mum yelled.

"No mum ,he did not hurt me .It happened when we were intimate and I have a delicate skin that's why I had a bruise"I said embarrassed.It's embarrassing telling ma'am Verna about I and Kingston being intimate together.

"Oh!! So sorry for putting you in an embarrassing position and Kingston don't be too rough.Be careful next time"She said smiling

"So I can expect a grand child now.Wonderful"She said and I just focused on my food as Kingston started looking at me.

"Well I also want to tell you too that , I will be leaving today.I miss my husband so I will be going home today.I will miss you Vida and you too Kingston even if you are not home most of the time"mum said

"I will miss you too mum"I said 

"So I will be leaving 12:50,I already packed my clothes"She said

"I will miss you mum,thank you for going back to your husband"Kingston

"You little brat,you are chasing me away"Mum said and used a big spoon to hit Kingston's head and Kingston winced making me laugh.He looked like a cute little boy .

We said our goodbyes to mum and Kingston also left the house leaving me all alone.I called Cassandra and asked if we should hang out and she agreed .

I left home and went to meet Cassandra ,we had fun then we eventually went to the the bar to cool off,where I had my own share of the drinks.After some time I told her to leave that I will be fine since she has to work the next day.

I thought about what happened with Kingston how he hurt me and he is still hurting me.A guy approached me as I tried leaving the place.The music was just in place.It suits my pathetic life.

"Hi"He said and I ignored him.My phone rang and I saw that it was Kingston.I ignored the call

He is the reason for my suffering anyways.

"I'm Ryan"The guy said and I stood up trying to steady my steps but failed and got caught my someone.I looked at him and it turned out to be Dylan.

"Vida, what are you doing here.Wait are you drunk?Where is Kingston?"He said

"Just leave me alone.I don't care about Kingston okay.He ruined my life.He is the reason for my suffering okay.Just let me be"I said and pushed him away.I tried walking again but I fell.

I  got up and went to sit on a chair close to me and bent my head crying.

KINGSTON

I got home and could not find Vida.I thought she was just messing with me but I realized that she was not home.Did she run away?

Yes Cassandra.

I was on my way to Cassandra's house when I go a call from Dylan.

"Dylan not now .Call me later ,I'm looking for... "I said in a rush but got interrupted

"I'm with Vida"He said

"I have to go...wait what??? You are with Vida.What is she doing with you.It's late.Where are you?"I asked

"She's in Mia's bar .I had to leave the bar just to call you.She's wasted Kingston"Dylan said

"You left her alone?I'm on my way"I said and drove roughly to the bar

I got there and saw Dylan outside the bar.

"Where is Vida?"I asked and she worked ahead of me and I quicky followed him.

I saw her sitting on one of the chairs.

I quickly ran to meet her.

"Vida "I called as I touched her she raised her head and looked at me as tears slipped from her eyes.

"Let's go home Vida"I said

"Stay away from me"She said and got up from where she sat

"Look am sorry for what happened earlier so can we please go home now"I said I said holding her hands

"So you can use me and call me a bitch right.You ruined my life.I hate you"She said hitting me and I just let her be and eventually she just stopped crying on my chest and I pulled her into a hug.

I swept her off her feet and took her to my car and thanked Dylan for his help.

We got home and I took the already sleeping Vida to my room

And I reminsced on what happened years ago

FLASH BACK

It was our final year in highschool and I wanted to do what I always wanted.My mum liked her anyways so everything is in order.

"Dylan am planning on telling Vida about my feelings for her.I will also ask her tone my girlfriend"I said

"Well Kingston ,Vida is not good for you "Dylan said

"What are you saying.She's my best friend I know her better than anybody else"I said

"I spoke with her sister"He said

"Well Vida's step sister Elaine is wicked, you should know that by now.She was our senior and she was very proud"I said

"Is that what Vida told you,well it was all a lie.Elaine and her mother treated Vida well,Vida  is just a brat.She lied ,she manipulated you.I also fell for her trap because I fell in love with her"Dylan said and making me look at him with shock 

"No,no Dylan.You don't have proof.I will not believe you.You are just lying because you love her.You said that yourself"I said and he stretched his phone out for me to have a look and I saw a video of he and Vida kissing and my eyes widen.

"How dare you Dylan.You knew I liked her then why did you kiss her"I yelled.

"She kissed me when I confronted her about the lies she told us about her family and she said she just wanted to be popular by being close to you and also she tried to bribe me by offering her body in exchange"Dylan yelled back

"You are lying.She can never do that"I defended

"Well ,she paid Caleb to pretend to harass her so you can help her.She is a very good actress"Dylan said

"Shut up I don't believe you"I said

"I also have proof about her and her family leaving happily.She has maids to help her do everything.Do you think Mr Hector Clifford will actually turn a blind eye to his daughter's suffering???"He asked
