“How are you feeling?” Alexander spoke as we walked into the company’s parking slot. It was evening now and the sun had set, I licked my lip and rubbed my hands together.

“I am fine.” I replied the three words I had rehearsed since birth. It was normal for me now. Saying I was fine was like a white lie that tasted like a sweet truth I could not attain. My hands clenched and unclenched in front of me.
