Seventy One

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE

Nicholas POV

After she had told me her story. It looks exactly like mine, but I'm not ready to tell her mine. There is no night - we only know if it is another day when the sunsets and when it rises again after a couple of hours.

I went to where she laid, and woke her up.

"We are going hunting together today." I said. "Sleep only if you want to starve." I added.

She grumbled, clearing her eyes with her index finger. She stood up.

"I'm older than you here. How do you think I have been feeding? Don't tell me what to do. I'm very well aware that if I don't work I won't eat. The only thing I lacked from then till now is a good sleep. I sleep with one eye open everyday because of the wild beast here." She explained.

When she mentioned wild beast - A thought crossed my mind.

"Why don't we kill a wild beast, so that we won't disturb ourselves when it comes to food." I suggested.

She looked at me disgustingly.

"Are you planning on staying here forever?" She asked me.
