"Why did you shift back when I asked you to?" Beatrice asked. "You should be with your people. When you're in human form, they won't accept you." Beatrice told her what she should expect when she is taken as a stranger.

"Avery is in Arbedour right?" Danika asked.

"Yes," Beatrice answered.

"Then I will be friends with her. She is the only human in Arbedour. I will be her best friend. That's how I'll love to spend the rest of my years." Danika said. She made Beatrice emotional as they landed on dry land. They both made their way to where Avery, Wahika, and Nicholas were.

It was a surprise to see either of the parties at a weird time and on uncommon ground. After the greetings came suspicion. But none of that matters as Danika stares at Nicholas. The last she saw Nicholas was when she left Arbedour before the marriage between Avery and Nicholas.

"Do you know me?" Nicholas asked.

Danika turned back, staring at Beatrice. When she noticed Nicholas was talking to her, she beat h
