Avery knocked twice and entered. Hoots and his fiance had left, and Wahika dismissed them earlier after Avery left. "You're late," Wahika said, picking up her stick.

"I had to do a lot of things. You made my heart pound at intervals. I could remember that you told me we should go during the day, why are you going at night?" Avery asked.

"The letter said it would lead the way. I felt going during the day would reduce the risk of dying. But right now we are hooked." Wahika responded.

"What about now?" Avery glared at her as she put some books in others, carried the biggest book, and opened it.

"It is dangerous." She flipped the pages of the book. "Come check this out." Avery moved closer.

"What is that?" Avery asked. There was little space between Avery and Wahika.

"Today, the red moon is out." She continued flippin
