Kyra's Pov

I woke up staring around the room. One minute I was walking toward Davis room and the next minutes I was back in this room. It was awfully dark and it felt like I was kidnapped.

I shrugged out of the bed feeling weak. My day had not been going on well, coupled with the fact that my mother was now convicted for murder.

I need to think of a way out of this mess. I need to save her, she is the only one I have got. The thought of what was going to happen to me if she was killed gnawed at me.

I fell down again feeling weak, my body system was shutting down but then I felt my wolf come alive. " What's going on? Why are we weak?" My wolf cried out

" Do you think I don't want to find out why? I am feeling weak also." I replied with teary eyes. I need to go out, I need to see my mother but the weakness I was feeling was much. I looked at the door and noticed it was unlocked.

That means I wasn't a prisoner. I could go out of the room if I wanted too. My legs which were feeble carried me as far as it could. With my fingers placed on the door knob, I opened it gently but then my vision became hazy again.

I peeped out of the room into the light and saw him, seated with finesse and exuding a kind of aura that melted my inner wolf. I could feel myself drawn to him and him drawn to me.

Why am I feeling this when all I should think about was saving my mother.

" Mate." My inner wolf said again. The man turned and I could see the blue eyes again. It was told by the elders that a person's wolf takes the shape of the person.

Red was for the alpha while golden eyes were for the betas but for the blue eyes, it was something more. They were Wolf who liked killing in cold blood.

My eyes shut close as I landed with a great thud on the floor.

[ AFTER SOMETIME]

I scrubbed my eyes gently and I was on the bed once more. I felt energetic. I peeped through the windows and I saw it was daybreak.

I heard the sound of the loud bell and I knew what it was for.

It was an emergency bell and it was only rung in time of distress, war or probably to give a special announcement. My mind raced, I don't need to be told what the bell was ringed for.

I knew it was to tell the whole pack and community that there beloved Alpha was dead. My heart felted heated against my chest and fr a moment, I thought I was going to have a panick attack. The thought of my mother being paraded throughout the street, the community made me scared.

I was the wolfless girl, the curse girl and now this. I was sure many people would cast me out of the pack once my mother was killed for a crime that she didn't commit

For some reason, I could use through Jessica's plan. Her father has always craved for power and to be ultimate ruler. With her getting married to Davis, she could have everything she had always wanted.

I need to stop this, I need to prove my mother was innocent but how?

I charged towards the door and I noticed it had been locked. I forcefully hit it hard, praying i could break it down with force but then my wolf was still weak.

After Davis severe ties with me, my wolf became weak. " Stop!" She cried out. " You are hurting us."

I just felt her come back to life after the strange encounter with wth blue eyes wolf i saw.

He resembles the guard that had taken me to my mother but then, I was not sure if he was the one or not. The faint light was doing a good job hiding his face from being seen.

Why does he have to lock the door?

Am I a captive now?

Or was this a part of Jessica's plan all along?

She doesn't have to kill me, she had managed to gain Davis heart so killing me would rather be a waste of time. Although I would rather be dead than go through all this torments.

" Let me out!" I shouted as I hit the door again. I sobbed gently falling to the cold floor, " Please, she is innocent." The word escaped out of my mouth.

I could hear the murmurs of people as they walked past the window I was locked up in.

" She is a cursed child."

" I can't believe she had her mother jinx."

" I would have do away with a child like that."

" Probably throw her to the rogue wolves and let them feast on her flesh."

" Do you think she did it?"

" Both the mother and child are evil. I don't see why she cannot. Do you remember how desperate she was to make sure Davis marry her daughter?"

" I can't believe she would go this far?" Another said

All this while, I placed my ears to the wall of the room, listening to every single words that was coming out of their mouths. I clenched my hands in anger as tears fell off my face.

But the bitter truth was that was I truly cursed?

Was there something my mother failed to tell me about?

Something that the pack knows off?

The feeling of being left out not told what was going on gnawed at me. I looked at the door with the passing of the time and wondered when he was going to let me out or tell me what happend to my mother.

I need to know if she was alive and save. But then I heard a creak sound at the back of the door. I quickly got up and hid behind the door grabbing a long stick I saw on the floor.

She was probably enjoying the freedom of being free to roam around into the moonlight. My feet hurt from a sharp pinch at the sole of my feet. I stopped abruptly. That feeling of being powerful was all I could think about forgetting the fact that I was supposed to come up with a plan to save my mother. She had told me, Davis was not going to delay her execution and I began to wonder if she was already dead. A part of me wished that I hadn't killed Jessica's guard, maybe he would have helped me clear my mother's name but then I knew he wasn't going to betray his mistress. Jessica's father was a tough man, the Beta to the dead Alpha. I knew it was useless trying to clear my name but then, it would really be nice if Davis would listen to me and see Jessica and her father for who they really are. My mind went back to my wolf. " Are you there?" I said with a hint of happiness in my voice. " I can't believe we could do that?" My inner wolf said happily. " Neither do I? But we need to save my mother now o

I immediately took the dungeon keys from one of the guards and plunged into the tunnels. I saw a torch at the far end of it and grabbed one. " Where too?" " I am not sure, Kyra. Wait, let me help you find her scent." My wolf said and I giggled. It was obvious I was enjoying my new powers thanks to the blue eye wolf who was my mate. I wonder how he was doing since I practically took him out. "Can you focus?" My wolf snapped at me. " Sorry. I was just happy." I said back at her. She was the only friend I had right now. " This way." My wolf said again. As I walked into the darkest part of the tunnel, I saw some of the prisoners in cages. " Mum? Mother!" I shouted as I walked with the torch in my hand. " Come kid, get me out of here." " Please, get me some food." " Who are you looking for? I can h

It was clear she was enjoying the way she had me humilated The dungeon was silent, with many of the prisoners looking in awe at the way Kyra moved. I stood up as blood gushed from the marks she had inflicted on me. I stared at her eyes, and I noticed there was something different about the colour. "What are you?" The word left my mouth before I could even think. "You can let us go, Jessica, or we can keep dragging this all night long. Either way, we know you are going to die. I don't care if it is the last thing I do before I leave this earth!" Kyra screamed. "Really? I am going to enjoy watching you die in pain." I said with anger coursing through my veins. Blood is flowing from her lifeless body with her eyes opened, staring at me. A blow landed on my face, and I passed out; my wolf slowly weakened until I could feel her no more. "Is this a dream?" "Where am I?" I opened my eyes, and my face went pale. I was strung to a pole right in front of the palace with a lot of the pack members all staring at me with disdain. "I can't believe her curse rubbed off on her mother." "Poor thing." "She is finally going to die." "She brought this upon herself." "I heard she bested Jessica in the fight they had in the dungeon." "Enough!" Davis shouted, raising his hand up in the air. This isn't a dream! It is real. My eyes snapped open, looki

Lost in thought, I barely noticed the soft creak of the door until a familiar voice pulled me back to reality. “Are you ready?” The feminine voice made me turn around sharply. My eyes widened in disbelief. “Alessia?” She stood there, a small smile on her lips.
