Kyra's Pov
I woke up staring around the room. One minute I was walking toward Davis room and the next minutes I was back in this room. It was awfully dark and it felt like I was kidnapped. I shrugged out of the bed feeling weak. My day had not been going on well, coupled with the fact that my mother was now convicted for murder. I need to think of a way out of this mess. I need to save her, she is the only one I have got. The thought of what was going to happen to me if she was killed gnawed at me. I fell down again feeling weak, my body system was shutting down but then I felt my wolf come alive. " What's going on? Why are we weak?" My wolf cried out " Do you think I don't want to find out why? I am feeling weak also." I replied with teary eyes. I need to go out, I need to see my mother but the weakness I was feeling was much. I looked at the door and noticed it was unlocked. That means I wasn't a prisoner. I could go out of the room if I wanted too. My legs which were feeble carried me as far as it could. With my fingers placed on the door knob, I opened it gently but then my vision became hazy again. I peeped out of the room into the light and saw him, seated with finesse and exuding a kind of aura that melted my inner wolf. I could feel myself drawn to him and him drawn to me. Why am I feeling this when all I should think about was saving my mother. " Mate." My inner wolf said again. The man turned and I could see the blue eyes again. It was told by the elders that a person's wolf takes the shape of the person. Red was for the alpha while golden eyes were for the betas but for the blue eyes, it was something more. They were Wolf who liked killing in cold blood. My eyes shut close as I landed with a great thud on the floor. [ AFTER SOMETIME] I scrubbed my eyes gently and I was on the bed once more. I felt energetic. I peeped through the windows and I saw it was daybreak. I heard the sound of the loud bell and I knew what it was for. It was an emergency bell and it was only rung in time of distress, war or probably to give a special announcement. My mind raced, I don't need to be told what the bell was ringed for. I knew it was to tell the whole pack and community that there beloved Alpha was dead. My heart felted heated against my chest and fr a moment, I thought I was going to have a panick attack. The thought of my mother being paraded throughout the street, the community made me scared. I was the wolfless girl, the curse girl and now this. I was sure many people would cast me out of the pack once my mother was killed for a crime that she didn't commit For some reason, I could use through Jessica's plan. Her father has always craved for power and to be ultimate ruler. With her getting married to Davis, she could have everything she had always wanted. I need to stop this, I need to prove my mother was innocent but how? I charged towards the door and I noticed it had been locked. I forcefully hit it hard, praying i could break it down with force but then my wolf was still weak. After Davis severe ties with me, my wolf became weak. " Stop!" She cried out. " You are hurting us." I just felt her come back to life after the strange encounter with wth blue eyes wolf i saw. He resembles the guard that had taken me to my mother but then, I was not sure if he was the one or not. The faint light was doing a good job hiding his face from being seen. Why does he have to lock the door? Am I a captive now? Or was this a part of Jessica's plan all along? She doesn't have to kill me, she had managed to gain Davis heart so killing me would rather be a waste of time. Although I would rather be dead than go through all this torments. " Let me out!" I shouted as I hit the door again. I sobbed gently falling to the cold floor, " Please, she is innocent." The word escaped out of my mouth. I could hear the murmurs of people as they walked past the window I was locked up in. " She is a cursed child." " I can't believe she had her mother jinx." " I would have do away with a child like that." " Probably throw her to the rogue wolves and let them feast on her flesh." " Do you think she did it?" " Both the mother and child are evil. I don't see why she cannot. Do you remember how desperate she was to make sure Davis marry her daughter?" " I can't believe she would go this far?" Another said All this while, I placed my ears to the wall of the room, listening to every single words that was coming out of their mouths. I clenched my hands in anger as tears fell off my face. But the bitter truth was that was I truly cursed? Was there something my mother failed to tell me about? Something that the pack knows off? The feeling of being left out not told what was going on gnawed at me. I looked at the door with the passing of the time and wondered when he was going to let me out or tell me what happend to my mother. I need to know if she was alive and save. But then I heard a creak sound at the back of the door. I quickly got up and hid behind the door grabbing a long stick I saw on the floor.Kyra's pov I knew that shouting for help was nothing. I was. still a virgin and the thought of my virginity being taken by a rogue, a nobody scared me. " Are you just going to lie there and do nothing?" My inner wolf said with anger. But what can I do? The man standing in front of me was twice or should I say thrice my size. But then we were on a cliff. If only I could summon my courage and push him. But then I looked at him and he was done with unclothing himself. Coming towards me, I felt my wolf take charge of my body. This should not be happening but it does. I rushed towards him and it was exactly as I thought, the guard gave me a punch to my face breaking my nose. I yelled in pain as I staggered backwards towards the end of the cliff. I could feel the wind blowing hard at my face as I tried to balance myself from falling. I looked at him and I saw the way he chuckled. " If I am not going to have you then no one will." he said with vermin" You shouldn't have!" I shouted
Kyra’s POV The Mating Ball Pain throbbed in my head, a dull ache that seemed to echo with every beat of my heart. My eyes fluttered open, and for a moment, everything was blurry. The last thing I remembered was the metallic beam falling, Davis frozen in its path, and me lunging forward to push him away. The sharp sting of blood trickling down my temple was my final memory before darkness took over. A faint light from the window illuminated the room. The familiar scent of lavender lingered in the air, a scent meant to calm nerves, though it did nothing to ease the turmoil in my heart. “Where is he?” I whispered, my voice barely audible. My chest tightened as I glanced around the empty room. Davis should have been here, watching over me, worrying about me. He was the future Alpha, yes, but he was also the man I had loved for as long as I could remember. I thought of the countless moments we’d spent together as children, racing through the woods and sharing dreams under the m
The Mate Revelation Kyra's POV “Mate!” The word escaped my lips, raw and undeniable. It echoed in the grand hall, silencing the music and laughter like a stone dropping into a still pond. All eyes turned to me. Davis froze where he knelt before Jessica, his hand poised with the ring. His face, which had moments ago been full of confidence, was now a mixture of shock and disbelief. Jessica’s radiant smile faltered, replaced with a scowl so sharp it could cut glass. My wolf surged within me, fierce and unapologetic. He is ours. Claim him. But as the weight of my declaration sank into the room, the silence morphed into a murmur. Whispers spread like wildfire. Faces blurred together, but their judgmental eyes burned into my skin. “Kyra,” my mother hissed beside me, gripping my arm with a force that sent a jolt of pain through my already fragile body. “Stop this madness!” “I can’t,” I whispered, my voice trembling. My wolf growled in defiance, pushing me forward a step toward Davis.
Kyra's Pov Everyone turned and looked at Jessica. " Are you doubting me?" Jessica looked at Davis. " Don't tell me you believe a word coming out of her filthy mouth!" " No, my love. I will never doubt you. If there is anyone that is delusional here,it is her!" Davis shouted at me again. I felt a sharp pain in my heart. Davis was ignoring all the signs and was sticking with Jessica. " Well, since you don't want to accept that I don't love you and neither do I share a a bond with you, then Yiu are leaving me now choice." The crowd froze again. " What is Davis going to do?" " He can't...is he.." " I am sure he is not doing what I think he wants to do." I kept hearing different thoughts or should I say my wolf was hearing them all. " Is he going to break the bond? Is Davis rejecting us?" My wolf kept asking me questions that I have no answer too. "I..Davis Emilson of the Silver moon pack hereby..." Davis was about to finish the words when I saw my mother ran to his fron
Kyra's pov I wished I was dead. It would have been better to be dead than to be ridiculed by almost the entire pack. My eyes flicked open and I found myseld back in my room. Tears stream down my face again as I tried to stand up. My head, it hurts as I winced in pain. But then I stopped bothering about that. My wolf, I could not hear it voice again. It can't be? " Did I just become wolfless? Oh god!" I said in pain. My mother woke up from her sleep. It was obvious she had been by my bed side all day long. I could see her gaze bore into me. She slowly got up and hugged me. " I am sorry, Kyra." She said with a sad voice. I tried to be brave, not to cry but then I could not hold it anymore. I burst into tears as she patted me on the back. " Do you want us to leave?" my mother looked into my eyes. "You know, we can go anywhere. Just tell me the pack of your chosen." " No, mother. I can't ask you to leave the pack you have know all your life. Were are we going to go?" I sa
" Where are you taking me?" I looked at the guard walking in front of me. " Can you keep quiet? They shouldn't even know you are here." he scolded me. " what are you taking about? Why? " I would love to see my mother but why do you have to sneak me in to see her?" I looked around the palace and I noticed the atmosphere was tensed. The guards were all mounting their position with a fearsome look on their faces. " What is going on?" I silently asked the guard " You should have asked me that before you keep asking me where your mother is. I am doing this because Selene was a good woman to me." "Who are you?" I looked at him from behind. "Girl? Isn't it obvious? I am a guard. Keep up." I followed silently behind him as we snuck through the back. I wanted to ask him why we ne
Kyra's Pov My heart beat faster as the door creaked open. I could see how meticulous the man that had the door opened was. I jumped him immediately and fled into the thick darkness not sure of where to run too. My wolf felt free, while I felt free. She was probably enjoying the freedom of being free to roam around into the moonlight. My feet hurt from a sharp pinch at the sole of my feet. I stopped abruptly. My breathing was ragged, I looked back to make sure I wasn't followed. " Ouch!" I said painfully as I removed the pointed sharp stick that had entered the sole of my feet. Blood flowed freely from the cut while I tried to take some rest. I need to head back towards the palace. I needed to see my mother but how? I was sure the palace would be swarmed with men who would be watching over my mother day and night. I would have to free her and run but who was going to harbour fugitives.
