CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

I sniffled and wiped away the tears from my face, feeling a mix of emotions: sadness, fear, and relief.

I had just poured my heart out to my aunt, and it felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.

But as I looked up, I saw that my door had creaked open, and I turned to see who had entered.

My heart skipped a beat as I saw Mr Orion standing in the doorway, a look of concern etched on his face.

'Hey, are you okay?' he asked softly, his eyes scanning my tear-stained face. I nodded, still sniffling, and he walked closer to me.

'I couldn't help but overhear your conversation,' he said gently. ' How long have you been at the door? eavesdropping on my conversation?' I snapped back at him, he shouldn't come act like he cares. I thought as I looked away From him.

'Do you want to talk about it?' he responded ignoring my behavior, I shook my head, feeling a lump form in my throat again.
