CHAPTER THIRTEEN

He suggested I take a shower, but I hesitated, my mind was still reeling from the nightmare. But with Mr Orion's reassuring presence, I reluctantly agreed.

He led me to the bathroom, turning his back against mine, which made me uneasy at first.

But the thought of being in danger pushed me to hurry through the shower. I quickly rinsed off and stepped back into the room, wrapped in a towel.

As I sat on the bed, as my eyes scanned the room, still searching for any signs of the monster from my dream. Mr Orion handed me a glass of water, which I took with a silent nod of thanks. I couldn't speak, my voice was still caught in my throat.

But Mr Orion seemed to understand. He sat beside me, as his presence was calm and soothing. And for a moment, I felt safe. Safe from the horrors of my nightmare, safe from the darkness of my nightmares.
