                  CHAPTER 4(A BOLD STEP)

It was morning already,the sun was up but Nina decided to remain indoors.For the past  week that she met Henry,she hasn't been herself.This was a random guy she met at the beach.She wasn't supposed to disturb herself too much over him but there she was bothered about him and wishing she could see him again.She didn't seem to be thinking about her boyfriend Ken anymore,all she wanted was the beach boy Henry and what she could do to get him back.

She picked up her phone and decided to swallow her pride and dial his number.She wanted to hear his voice so bad.

"Should I call him or not?"she asked herself.

"What if he snubs me?"

"Did he forget to call me or what?..."

"Goddamn it.It is over a week now"

She decided to then take a bold step.She knew obviously that if she didn't call,he wouldn't bother calling.

She picked up her phone and dialed his number.Her heart was already beating.Is it for the worse or for the better?.The phone kept on ringing and just when she was about to give up,he picked her call.

"Hello"said him with his deep baritone voice.

She was pleased to hear his voice.

"His voice is so damn hot"she thought.

"Hello.It is me Nina.The girl you met at the beach a week ago.We exchanged contact remember?".

"Well...hello beautiful"

On hearing the word beautiful,her heart skipped for joy.The phone call was really turning out in her favour so she thought.

"I am so sorry that I haven't been able to call you ever since the beach.I totally forgot"he continued.

"It's okay.I thought so too.So how are you doing?.And what's up with you today?."She asked.

"Well nothing serious.Just handling some paper work.What about you?".

"Nothing.I am just bored at home".

"Sorry about that.Why don't you look for something fun to do inorder to kill the boredom?"he asked.

Impressed at how the phone call was going,she decided she would invite him over at her house.

"I would have loved to invite you to my house but since you are busy,I will just let you finish what you were doing.Maybe some other time?"she said knowing fully well that he wouldn't turn down her offer.

"I would really like that.Lets say an hour from now i'll be there.Let me make up for not calling you all these while".He insisted.

Her heart leaped for joy on hearing those words.He was probably going to come see her at her place.What more of a good news was she expecting to hear other than that?

"Alright then.Imma text you my home address after this call".She said smiling.

"Okay.Bye for now"he concluded.

"Bye"she responded as well.

She began to jump.She couldn't believe her crush was coming over to her house.She continued to applaud herself for a work well done and for taking the bold step of calling him first.

"It was worth it after all"she said to herself.

She then realized she was supposed to send her home address to him.So she picked up her phone again and began to text him the details.

Right now,Henry had two appointments with two ladies who happened to be best friends unknowingly to him.He kept thinking on how to make the appointments blend.He calculated that he won't stay too long at Nina's house but would make it early to the dinner date he had with Jane and would spend enough time with her as well.

He hurriedly finished up his paper work, arranged all the files and put them in his drawer.Then he went to freshen up.

An hour later,Nina heard the door bell ring.She already knew it was him because he had promised her that he would be there an hour after the call.She arranged her hair properly,packaged her breast making sure they looked firm and comfortable in the very exposing gown she wore .She then took a final glance at the mirror.Convinced  that she was looking good,she made straight to open the door.

Henry greeted her with a smile the moment she opened the door.Nina was so engrossed with his handsome looks that she forgot to let him in;his neatly carved hairline,his shirt which slightly exposed his chest,his neatly shaved beards and most importantly his physique.

"Can I come in?"He reminded.

"Ofcourse.Sorry I was a lil bit carried away".

"You look very handsome"she complimented.

"Well thanks.You look good yourself".He reciprocated the compliment.

"Thanks.Can I get you anything?".She offered.

"Water.Thanks".

He kept on looking around the house as would anyone that hasn't been to a certain place before while she went in to get a bottle of water and a glass.

She came back with the bottle of water and purposely bent down in front of him inorder to make him notice her already exposed cleavage while trying to pour out the water in a glass.He seemed to have noticed the very firm  breasts that was staring at him in the face but he quickly turned his eyes away .

"Here you go"she offered him a glass of water.

"Thanks"he accepted the water and finished the glass.

"I see you drink water alot"

"Yeah I love water.Thanks".

She then went further to ask him to tell her more about himself.

"So tell me about you"

"Well my name is Henry.Henry Wilberforce.I work in my father's company as the CEO and I have a sibling.His name is Fred but he ain't in the country right now".he answered.

"Oh that's nice.Any relationship?"she asked inquisitively.

"None for now but hoping to".

"He is single"she thought to herself.She was relieved that she wouldn't have to compete with anybody inorder to have him.It was less stress for her,so she thought.

"What about you?.Are you in any relationship?".He asked.

She didn't know by if lying would be best or if telling him the truth would ruin her chances of getting him.She didn't want to jeopardize her chance of having him so she lied.

"No I am not.I am single like you.I guess it's not a coincidence after all"

"Everyone mustn't be in a relationship though.It is only right to be with who you want to be with and love the person with all your heart than being in a relationship just because others are doing it.It doesn't work that way with me though".He said.

"Well you are right"she agreed.Not like she had any choice anyway.

He then looked at his wristwatch.It was already time for him to leave.

"Oh...I have exhausted my time.I gotta go now.Maybe we will talk later on phone or better still chat".

"Ouch...so soon.".

"Yeah but I have so much work to do.I will have to call you.This time I won't forget".He said standing up and heading straight to the door.

Nina was a bit disappointed.She wanted to spend so much time with him but she obviously wasn't going to keep a grown man against his will.So she escorted him to his car.

'I will call you then?"he asked.

"Sure".

He then entered into his cars and drove off.

She stood there watching his car as it drove away.She had wanted him to stay with her a little bit.She didn't take it seriously so she retired back to her house.
