Purple

 She quickly got up from her bed and held the phone steady to her ears.

"What happened?" 

"Apparently, Mr Donald is in the hospital and is handicapped. She said it was our president who did it and filed a case against him. There's no evidence now but it's trending online" Halle explained and Yelena cut off the call to search online for the news. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Halle didn't tell her the complete news as it seems even the secretary met with an unfortunate incident last night.

A picture of President Donald in the hospital was posted and it seemed pretty serious.

Yelena could feel the upcoming headache as she rubbed her temple. She put down the phone in her hand and got out of bed, she needed to be at work.

She was about entering the bathroom when she heard a knock on her door.

"Come in" she already knew who it was as only the two of them lived in the house. The incident of last night seems to have been pushed behind as all she could think of was getting to the company fast.

"I saw the news, is that true?" Eleanor asked. Even though she knew President Cage could be evil at times, she never thought he could make someone handicapped. The worst they had heard was him making people's company bankrupt or buying over their company even when the owners are alive and able. Well they had heard he made people mysteriously disappear too but they didn't see what he did to them.

"It seems so" Yelena replied with a nod.

"Lena, I understand th.." She was about apologizing for her actions last night but she was interrupted by Yelena.

"Lean, I'm not angry with you okay, let's just forget about it" She then went into the bathroom after speaking. Eleanor bit her lips in frustration but went out of the room.

Shortly, she was out and quickly got dressed before heading for the company. She frowned when she saw reporters outside the company. She alighted from her car and they ran in her direction in order to question her but she was quickly surrounded by the President's guards.  Yelena turned and Saw her boss was just getting to the company too and he seemed unbothered by all that was happening.

'Typical boss' 

He glanced in her direction and she bowed in greeting. "You are early" he said and she felt embarrassed by his words. He made it seem like she was always late. Well, she was late most of the time but not all the time!

They didn't entertain any questions as they passed by the reporters.

"Boss what are we going to do about the news?" She asked him as they walked towards their elevator. The workers bowed as both of them passed by them. 

The employees of ADOR weren't ones to gossip so no one was talking about the trending news. 

"Let it be" he simply replied before getting into the elevator and Yelwna followed after him. Even though his assistants had different elevator, they used he's when they were entering together.

"But wouldn't it escalate?" She asked again as she was worried it would affect them negatively. He glanced at her with a smirk "Secretary Mervick, you are a worrywart, the company wouldn't be affected" He replied then the elevator opened as they had gotten to their floor. Both of them went to their offices. 

 Yelena saw Halle who was already working, the lady was very efficient with her work.

"You are early" Halle said with an amused smile when she saw her. Her words made Yelena frown as this was the second person to tell her this morning.

"Seems Boss isn't worried about it, so, we shouldn't too" Yelena replied before getting to her sit then turned on her system to start working.

"Do you think Boss actually did that to Mr Donald" Halle asked and Yelena nodded. "He did and he's not feeling guilty about it" 

Their office door was knockéd on and both of them looked up to see Clara walking in. Clara had a smile on her face, which made both girls raise a brow with curiousity as nothing that had happened this morning was worth smiling for.

"You are looking gorgeous today, do you have somewhere to go after work?" Halle asked the young lady who had just entered. They could see her dressing style had changed.

Clara smiled "Hmm, I'm going on a date, My Mom arranged one" She replied and both girls giggled.

"It seems you know the guy because of the way you dress doesn't seem like someone going on a blind date with a stranger?" Yelena told her.

"Yeah, it's with my childhood crush, he just returned recently to the country and his Mum wanted him to marry me" She replied and both girls could see her blushing.

"Make sure to flash him tonight, so, he wouldn't plan to run away" Halle added with a wink Making Clara blush the more.

"Halle, don't tell her nonsênse" Yelena scolded her friend, she couldn't believe Halle was teaching someone what she had never done.

"What?" Halle looked at her innocently as though she said nothing wrong. Yelena simply shook her head then faced the blushing Clara.

"Good luck on your date. By the way, why are you here?"

Clara gasped on remembering why she had came. "President Cage calls for an emergency Meeting"She told them and both girls quickly got up from their sit. No one wanted to die early morning because of being late to the meeting.

The Meeting hall was almost filled up when they got in and they took their respective sits. They could see the president himself was the one to deliver the Meeting as he was beside the projector.

"I called you all here to discuss about the Valentine wrap" He started. Everyone were surprised as they had thought he wanted to address the issue trending online.

"But President, about the news online" One of the director decided to ask him. The rest of them looked at the Director like he had grown an extra head because if he hadn't, he wouldn't have asked.

Daryl raised a brow at the man then a smirk was visible on his lips, the smirk that sent shivers down their spines.

"Direction Johnson, you have something to say?" He asked as though he didn't hear the Man's initial question. Director Johnson could feel the drop in the Room's temperature and he knew what it meant.

"No, I don't" he quickly said as he didn't want his head rolling. After seeing the news online, and seeing that he wasn't addressing the issue, they grew more afraid of their President as it meant he was agreeing to the accusation.

Daryl then continued what he was saying, like there was no distraction in the first place.

"As I was saying, For ADOR's Valentine Chocolate, we decided to hold a meeting to decide the wrapper's color" There was displays of different wraps colours and everyone gave different opinions.

"Since we used Red the last time, why don't we use Brown this year?" Someone suggested.

Daryl motioned for him to continue "Brown is also a colour lovers like and also it looks similar to red" He explained and everyone agreed.

Yelena was noting down some things down and she raised her hand when everyone were already agreeing to the colour.

"Yes, Secretary Mervick, what's your opinion?" He asked her.

"I suggest we use purple" She replied and everyone began murmuring. They couldn't understand why Purple out of all colours.

"Explain better" he urged her. She stood up then cleared her throat.

"Purple is a divine colour which not only speaks about love but loyalty. We know Red is for lovers but it doesn't mean only lovers would eat the chocolates or it wouldn't be bought even after Valentine has passed" she paused and looked around to see everyone's attention on her.

"The biggest Fandom in the world currently which is called ARMY, you all should know BTS right? And if you don't, you can G****e them out. Their fandom colour is purple and purple to them means, I'll love and cherish you for a very long time. Which is why I think Purple is suitable, also it would be a good marketing strategy as ARMY have a thing for purple stuffs and they are all over the world. Purple chocolate cover would attract them" She explained and at the end of her explanation, there was an applaud.

"That seem very creative, we should go with Purple then. Secretary Mervick, contact the production team so they could get started" Daryl told her and she bowed in understanding before sitting back.

Halle who had been noting down the minutes, nudged Yelena by her waist and the latter turned to her with an eyebrow raised.

"The ARMY in you couldn't resist using the fandom colour, isn't it?" She said which made Yelena Giggle.

Shortly, the meeting ended and everyone headed for their offices. Except for the president's Assistants as they had to go with him to his office after every meetings.

"I'm impressed" Korin told Yelena on their way to the president's office.

"Even I am impressed with myself" Her words made the two beside her scoff.

 "Narcissistic idiot" They heard a voice behind them and Saw Cayden, who had his hands in his pocket and was looking at them with a smile.Yelena glare at him but quickly kept her composure as she remembered they were still at work. Cayden chuckled then walked past them to enter the president's office.

They also got into the president's office and saw him already busy with his Laptop. Cayden had taken a sit in one of the couch in the office.

"Boss, we are here" Korin did the honour of announcing their presence as he sensed the two ladies behind him didn't have the guts to.

Daryl stopped what he was doing and glanced at the three of them.

"Since when have you both been working for the company?" He was referring to Yelena and Halle.

"Four years" Both of them said at the same time. They couldn't understand why he was asking them that, it seems to them like he was sending them Faraway and that was scaring them. They loved their Job even though he could be scary at times but he had actually never hurt them, instead he had always protected them.

"Brother don't scare them with your question, I bet they are assuming you are tired of them" Cayden decided to chime in. He knew his best friends most, so he understood their body language easily. Yelena turned to glare at him for the second time. It was better he kept his mouth shut.
