LEANS

 The President's office was as silent as grave yard, nothing could be heard except the continuous flip of files and the tappings on the Computer. 

His hair fell on his face, creating a shadow over his obscure eyes which were slightly narrowed as he read through the files in his hand. His shirt's sleeve had been rolled up to his elbow, his Wrist watch which had ADOR's Logo laid rested on his wrist. Two bottoms had been opened on his chest area, giving a glimpse of his firm chest. He was so focused on what he was doing that he didn't check the time. 

The knock on the door broke the silence. Before he could even say 'come in', the door had been opened making him frown. But his frown deepened when he noticed it was his Brother, the guy lacked courtesy in his opinion. If not for him being strict with him, Cayden would have became a spoilt brat.

"I'm back" Cayden went to his Brother's side to embrace him, he knew his brother didn't fancy skinship but he would never stop hugging him. His brother on the other hand, pushed him away in disgust. He felt like knocking some senses into this younger brother of his.

"Is that the way to greet your superior? It seems your one month Vacation is getting into your head" Cayden only pout then went to sit on the couch in front of the desk, he had missed seeing his brother's angry look.

 Although, he might seem uncaring and cold, only Cayden knew how caring he actually was. He was just used to masking his emotions with his cold font which in Cayden's opinion was harmful to him.

"My Vacation was kind of eventful. Some rats were snooping around but I had them taken care of" he paused then continued. "Snoopy is making his move lately, He seems to be trying to create a secret Army to go against you" Cayden finally decided to talk as he knew his brother was already waiting for what he had done during his 'Vacation'. Unlike what Everyone were told, He didn't go to New Zealand but actually went to Japan. 

President Cage stopped what he was doing then rested his back on his chair, he seemed to be in a deep thought.

"I expected him to do that sooner, I guess he just had the guts to do that. Tell Alan to keep his eyes on him, it seems we would be having fun time soon" He replied, his voice was laced with Venom which made Cayden shiver. He knew better than anyone how scary was, it wasn't like he was any better but he knew his boss.

Cayden was about standing to leave but was stopped by His brother's voice. "Mom wants us home" His words made Cayden turn to look at him, there was surprise on his expression.

"You are going?" He asked so he could confirm if he was hearing things. 

"Hmm, let's go see what that sly man is up to" Hereplied and Cayden agreed with that. 

"Okay then, when you are done tell Korin to call me" Cayden said then went out.

ADOR was actually created by The current Chairman Theodore Cage, in the memory of his Twin Sister, Theodora, who had died when they were younger but had wanted to have an Empire of her own. Then he passed the company to his grandson because his son was not capable enough to take care of the company.

Yelena got to the New site then parked her car in a place that seemed safe for parking. She grabbed her bag then alighted from the car. She walked towards the Land where the construction was being made and met some people already working there. They all stopped to bow to her as they knew who she was, offending her means seeking death.

"How is it going?" She asked the man who seemed to be the superior there. The Man was a middle aged man, he didn't seem that old and one look at him, you'll know he must have stolen few hearts when he was younger.

"It should be ready in a month, approximately. Actually, it only needs little furnishings and as you can see, it's going quite well" He showed her around the place and Yelena had to agree that they had done a good job.

They did a little tour of the building and Yelena pointed out places that needed adjustments.

"I think adding a little furnishings to this place would make it more presentable or what do you think?" She asked the man who had served as your guide for her.

"It's a nice idea, Miss Mervick" he agree which made her smile. They walked around for a while before everywhere had been covered.

"I'm impressed, I'll deliver the Message to the president. Good Job" She told the man before walking back to her car. 

She dropped her bag in the car then got in before she drove off from the area. There was still time before Eleanor would close her shop, so, she decided to stop there.

Her car stopped in front of a restaurant like building. At the top was the boldly written 'Leans' as the shop name. The name had been given by Cayden, after the four of them had debated on what to name the shop and they had agreed on that. They had even added funds together as Eleanor didn't have enough money to start it then and thus, the four of them owned it but Eleanor was the major shareholder and owner.

Yelena pushed open the glass door and her eyes landed on her friend, who was busy serving some customers. Even though She had about five workers, Eleanor loved doing the work herself as it made her Happy.

 Yelena went to sit in her usual place and one of the workers came to meet her, they all knew she was one of the owners of the shop and their Boss's best friend, so, she was treated with care.

"Miss Mervick, Boss is busy serving some customers, what would you like to have?" The young lady who looked nothing older than 20 asked her.

"I'll be fine with Sandwich and a glass of milk" She replied then brought out her computer, so, she could email her report to her Boss.

Her order was brought but she was still focused on what she was doing. Her her hair was all over her face but she wasn't bothered about it.

"Busy day today, uhn?" She heard Eleanor's voice in front of her. She hadn't even noticed when the lady came to sit in front of her.

"Hmm" she hummed in response. 

"Your Boss didn't Murder you for going late for the day's meeting?" She asked as she knew Her Friend's Boss's temper.

Yelena shook her head in response "he only took away my monthly bonus, my poor monthly bonus" She mourned for her loss.

Eleanor only laughed to mock her friend "You should really start waking up early, you know the type of company you work with and yet you attend every important meetings late. I'm sure your boss would soon fire you" Eleanor's word made Yelena hand, which had been busy on her laptop stop. 

"If I'm fired, I'll just come to work here" She shrugged then took her glass of milk.

" I'm not looking for employees, so, stay back in your company, oh dear Secretary Mervick. But you came early, what happened?" 

"Had to visit the new hotel site then I was given the rest of the day off" 

Eleanor was holding a cup of ice cream which she scoop into her mouth every now and then.

"So I heard Cay is back" She started another discussion and Yelena nodded in response. She was now busy with her pizza.

"I saw him when I was leaving for the site" 

"Halle told me, seems you'll be very busy from now on" Her word made Yelena look up in confusion.

"I mean, I saw the news earlier, about the new clothing exhibition" Eleanor explained on seeing her confused expression. 

"We've always been busy anyway but Boss wanted us to finish our Schedule for this month faster, so we could have time to plan for the Valentine wraps" Yelena explained making Eleanor nod in understanding. She doesn't know much about office work but since her friends were involved, she knew little about it.

"Just don't stress yourself too much, your health matters" Yelena smiled at her worried expression.

"Yes, Mama" Eleanor in turn laughed at her response.

"You should also consider going on dates, you are getting old" She added which made Yelena glare at her.

"Because you have a boyfriend, I have to suffer for it" She said with an eyebrow raised but Eleanor only shrugged.

"I'm only 25" Yelena added and Eleanor nodded as though she agreed.

"I'm 25 too but not single, shall I set you up with this guy whom I found suitable? He's handsome, currently he's managing his parents company and he seems responsible." Yelena only focused on the laptop as though she didn't hear what her friend was saying.

Eleanor sighed on seeing her Expression, it wasn't that she wanted to make her friend uncomfortable but it was for her own good.

"I know you like him but he do..." 

"And I still like him regardless" Yelena completed before closing her laptop then putting it in her bag. She grabbed the remaining glass of milk then stood up. 

"We would meet at home" Her face was expressionless and tone was monotonous as she said so. She walked away soon after. Eleanor only sighed then went back to work.

The both of them had no parents and had been raised together at the orphanage, so, they had been each other's companion since childhood. They were each other's parent and siblings, which was why they cared deeply for one another. Eleanor only wanted the best for her best friend and sister, but it seems Yelena was being stubborn about it.
