29. Little Eren

Four years later

“Eren Dan Aiyer!” 

I cry out for the tenth time at the bottom of the stairs. "We need to go!"

He groans in annoyance. “But maa—”

“Fine.” I rest a hand on my hip and tap my feet. “I’m going without you.”

“No no!” He yells dramatically. “I’m coming, I’m coming!” My soon four years old son immediately runs down the stairs. I smile on looking at him. He is so cute in his blue denim overalls and white shoes. Unfortunately, he resembles his father to such a point that I cry sometimes while looking at him. He took over all his features, even the eyes. That intense turquoise colour. I just pray that the colour will change gradually as he grows up.

Eren runs to me and hugs my legs. Giggling, he raises his head to look at me with sheep eyes. “I love the Citadel.”

“Shhh.” I place a finger
