Chapter 9 Renee’s screams.

Renee felt all the blood in her body welled up in her head and it made her face flushed.

The close proximity between her and Dante was making it hard for her to breathe, she pushed him away and murmured.

“I…I have to go back to the dorm now.You should get going.”

Dante shrugged and then informed her.”You’ll be meeting my father at the Moretti’s family’s house tomorrow evening.”

She nodded and quickly scurried away.

Dante laughed watching her run away like a fleeing rabbit.

The following evening,Dante came to pick her up.

She was going to meet her future father-in-law and Renee felt so nervous.

After getting out of the car,she stared at the carved black gate and the towering building behind it,feeling a little terrified.

She never ever thought of marrying into a wealthy family,never dared to imagine marrying into the most powerful family in Italy.

When she was too nervous to move,Dante held her hand,tightly.

The warmth of the palm and the constant flow of power from it unexpectedly calmed her nerves.

She stared at him,stared into his eyes and he stared back at her,intently.

Her heart lurched and she didn’t have the courage to look at him anymore.

His eyes were penetrative,as if he could peep into her heart and soul.

She looked down and then heard his words in a gentle,soft tone.

“Don’t be nervous or scared.I’m with you and I’m never leaving your side.”

Those words made her feel a lot calmer.

He was right.

She didn’t have to be scared since her man was beside her.

They went into the house and only saw one servant in the living room while Gustavo was still upstairs.

Dante asked the servant to show Renee around while he went upstairs to inform his father of their presence.

The servant started to show her around.The house was luxurious,with private cinemas,indoor swimming pools and a big greenhouse.

It was in summer and so the jasmine blossomed.

The night breeze brought the fragrance of the flowers to her nose.She felt so excited and wanted to explore the greenhouse alone so she asked the servant to leave and then she walked around the greenhouse by herself.

She didn’t know that after the servant had turned away,a pair of gloomy eyes in the dark feel upon her delicate body.

Renee had only seen greenhouses on TV and never did she expect that some could be this big,she was so filled with wonder as she walked through a path.

Suddenly,she heard footsteps coming from behind.

Thinking that it was the servant,she said.

“I already told you to go back.Don’t worry,I know my way back to the main…”She was unable to complete that because as she turned around,she was surprised to see an unfamiliar man.

“Who are…”

Before she could finished that,the man rushed over and grabbed her in his arms.

Renee felt so frighten that she struggled immediately,but the man was much stronger than her.Whatever she did failed to push him away.

The man reeked of alcohol and she figured that he was drunk.

“I never knew there were so many beautiful girls in this old fool’s house.Why be a mistress to that old man when you can be mine?I’m young and very energetic.I can give you anything you want.”

His disgusting hands wildly fondled around her body.It had been a hot day so she was only on a dress.

She knew this man would not let her go unless he had his way with her.

So with all her might,she screamed;

“HELP ME…HELP…”

The man quickly covered her mouth with his hand.

His patient waned and he wrapped his fingers around her neck,strangling her.

“You better keep quiet or I’ll end your life right here!It seems you don’t know who I am?I am Gustavo’s grandson.That means,I can always get away with everything.So you better shut up and spread those legs for me while I still find you desirable!”

He loosened his hand when he saw Renee was almost out of breath.

Renee stared at him still not knowing who he was.

But with how well he was dressed.

He seemed to be from the Moretti family as he had claimed.

“I’m Fabiano Moretti.”He introduced and gave a libidinous laugh.”I’m the only son of my father,that means the Moretti’s empire will be mine someday.Now will you be a good girl and do what I say?”He asked,confidently.

Renee was not a money-hungry girl.Even if she had agreed to marry Dante to save her family,she would not do anything out of her morals ever again.

She tried to break away from Fabiono’s grasp and she shouted for help loudly this time.

Fabiano realized he wouldn’t be able to have this girl if she kept on shouting.

He knew she might’ve attracted the attention of someone already.Even if he had boasted that he could get away with anything,it was a lie.

Gustavo was a very strict man and he could beat him to death if he finds out that he raped a girl.

That thought sobered him up.

He glared at Renee for being so difficult.It had always been so easy for him to have his way with any woman he laid eyes on.But this one had to be so fucking annoying.

Angrily,he pushed her away and kicked her hard on the back.

Renee fell forward into the flower,field.The sharp branches of some flowers pierced into her body and she felt a sharp,acute pain.

As she let out a cry of pain,Fabiano bent down and slapped her hard on the face.

A sudden wave of dizziness overpowered her and she felt her ears were tingling,she could vaguely hear Fabiano now.

Fabiano bent down and warned her,angrily.”For being so difficulty to handle,I’ll make sure I get you some other time.And then I will not be gentle at all with you.I’ll torture you to death in my bed!”

At that moment,some servants rushed in.They had heard Renee’s screams.

When they saw how hurt she looked,they rushed forward to help her.

“Sir Fabiano,what happened?”

Fabiano straightened his clothes and let out nonchalantly.”This stupid bitch tried to seduce me but I taught her a good lesson.”
