Everything passed like a blur Reece held onto his chest trying hard to ease the congestion he was feeling from within, he tried feeling his hands but they did not move, the ground beneath his feet began shifting at a rapid rate, and he breaths heavily second trying to gather himself and his thoughts but like a submarine, he was not in control, he is moved to whatever direction the walls closing in on him and everything turned pitch black.
The students shouted but Aryan was quick to catch the fragile boy before his beautiful self hit the ground. He tucked his hand beneath his legs and carried him bridal style.
“Class of today is adjourned and notes shall be passed so you study” The students all cheered but some had worried looks on their faces. Reece Mcrocal was not a very common name if it did not come to top students. He aced all his classes and had received the valent Victorian almost every other year.
He was a complete teacher's pet and an introvert. His classmates walked out crowding the locker room, the news quickly spreading. Aryan rushed to the parking lot. Security was there to help him unlock the car as he gently placed the hot body of the unconscious boy in the passenger seat.
“Inform the nurse I have taken him to the hospital, he is running a temperature” The security could only nod as Aryan drove away. He was not just any professor but a member of the school board, all respected him and his words were final.
Biology class was finally over. Clarkson Runs and Frida Amnell both sigh, frustratedly stepping out of the class. They were in almost every class together.
Unlike the boastful teens they used to be, they have been in the weather all day. Slamming her locker so hard, Frida turns to Clark sighing, her hands thrown a thousand times in the air within minutes.
“Come on, stop it already, you're making me dizzy” Clark complains closing his locker. They had just one class to finally call it a day, but there was still no sign of Reece.
“I swear his ass will be what I whoop so hard the moment he decides to show up. Who does this? I know it was bad of me to have left him last night knowing it was his first time, but that is not enough excuse to not want to see me, talk to me, or even answer my calls and text messages” Clark just sighs as they walk their way to the cafeteria.
He could only listen to the continued rambling of his best friend. Reece was their best friend and only other friend, while they were commonly referred to as the 3 musketeers, they did take pride in taking care of each other and looking out for each other. Clarkson was so caught up with Frida’s ramblings to hear the students all chatting about the fainted student.
“Oh, here they come... Two musketeers... Where is the third?” Delora Catwell hissed blocking their path. The daughter of the principal and most hideous bully in Fountain High. Frida stepped forward standing at the same height as her.
“Why don't you run off and go be daddy’s little pet, and leave us the fuck alone” Clarkson was quick to pull Frida back. She was already in so much of a bad mood and confronting Delora may only end in hair pulling or worse detention which he was certain Frida was rather too hyped for.
“Let's go, it's not worth it, we have to look for Reece, '' Clark whispers, pulling Frida away but again, Delora and her minions were quick to stand in their way.
“And where do you think you are headed to? I am not done with you and when I do, you will be so sorry for yourself.” Delora and her minions laugh.
“And what worse can you do? You're nothing but a toothless dog and before you say you will report me to your father, the road is clear my pitiful Sorrow” Delora stood fuming in anger. Frida was one person not to mess with especially when she was already angry, but Delora did not know that.
“Aren't you looking for your sweet friend, I heard he fainted in history class, I guess the birthday handover was not over huh” Frida turned her way heading straight to the nurse's office but Delora stood in her way.
“No...no you're not allowed to leave, not when I am not done with you” Clarkson was tired of holding Frida back. He lets go of her, her body charging straight for Delora, her minions scrambling away for their safety, her first mid-air, Frida smirks seeing the fear in her enemy's eyes.
“Delora.. You're nothing but Sorrow, at times I can't help but wonder what your sweet daddy and mother were going through at the time of your birth to have pushed them so hard to name you “sorrow” but it is well, scramble out of my way before I make you a replica of your name” Frida threatened and without a second thought Delora’s minions pulls her away. Frida ran her way to the nurse's office bashing in without knocking.
“Young lady, this is my office and not some night club” the nurse cautioned but Frida was in no mood to pay attention to her manners or greetings. She searched every bed but there was no one.
“Reece Mcrocal?” Frida asked the nurse trying hard to catch her breath.
“He isn't here, his teacher took him to the hospital” Frida was on his way before the last words left the nurse's mouth but stepping outside, she sighed frustrated at her stupidity. She bashed in yet again making the nurse even more furious.
“Hospital name?” she asked but the nurse did not fancy her audacity and ruthness.
“And how will I know which hospital mr Aryan Turker took him to?” she snaps at her turning and taking her seat.
“Do close the door as you leave and more bashing in without knocking will be a week's detention ms Amnell” The name alone was enough to have Clarkson and Frida freeze on the spot.
“Anybody but not Aryan Turker” they cried.
Reece did not know how long he had been out but staring at the white walls surrounding him was enough to know where he was. “Hey, I see you're up” a nurse walks in, pushing a cart filled with tablets and injections. Reece shifts uncomfortably on the bed, he has always been scared of injections, he tries sitting up but is abruptly forced back to the bed. His heart spiked up rapidly seeing the deadly cold gaze of the man above him. Reece did not know when he walked in, or if he had been in the room to begin with. He had not taken the leisure to glance around. “It's done,” the nurse soon announced, placing the empty injection back on the cart. “These are some drugs you are to take and directions are written on the back” Before the nurse could hand out the plastic full of tablets to Reece, the hands above him had grabbed them. Reece gulf down a huge lump not knowing what else to do. This was not the scene he had been hoping to wake up to. “We leave in a few minutes ' Aryan Turker an
Walking into the house he had just left barely hours ago cursing and vowing never to return felt like a joke. Reece was not in the mood to talk or have small talk with the man before him, he was quick to head for the bedroom not giving Ayan time to say a word. He stripped off his clothes heading for the bathroom, he was still in so much pain, and having a proper bath did not come easily. Reece walks out of the bathroom, steam still coming off his body, he looks over to the bed where he had left his dirty clothes and none was there. He carefully looked around the room and still, there was no sign of them, he did not want to go about searching Ayan’s closet, but staying in a towel was not the best idea either. “Reece… Reece, wake up” Ayan gently taps Reece's shoulders waking the cute baby from his little slumber. Reece stirred in his sleep, throwing his legs apart. “Hey, you're naked!!! wear something” Ayan urges him, holding the fragile boy up. “Can't I sleep like this?” he whin
Reece walks into class heading straight for the back seat. He was not comfortable taking the first seat for the very first time. Not wanting to listen to the incoming noise from the other students as they wait for the teacher, he lazily pulls up his hoodie, over his head, and lays still on the desk. “Hey,” a voice wakes him from his slumber. “Wow..you look miserable.” Frida pulls out a seat by his side. “How are you doing? You do not look good” she added. Reece was not ready to say a word. So much was happening in his life at the time and worrying his friend was the very last on his mind. “Nothing… just stress from home” he shrugs facing the front. The teacher was running late and so was Clarkson, not like it was an unusual habit of his. Just when the teacher walks in, Clarkson appears at the door requesting entry like a dog on rainy days. “Mr Clarkson, do you have a baby you breastfeed before class?” Mrs Lavenda asked, bringing out her English teacher's book from her bag. “No
Reece felt his blood freeze within seconds, his throat felt dry, and his words caught up within his throat as much as he wanted to scream and cry out loud. Reece was frighteningly pale, and seconds ticked to minutes, his silence was a call for alarm. He rushed out of the cafeteria stumbling on his way out. Frida and Clarkson were quick to their heels chasing after him with a matter of urgency. Reece crashed his back against the locker, sliding down slowly while the words from earlier played in his head like a broken record. “On his 18th birthday,” he kept repeating. He did not know if he should laugh or cry. “It was my 18th birthday too, he raped me… he is a serial rapist” was what he wanted to scream out loud but the words sucked up in his throat so painful to be voiced out. Frida and Clarkson soon caught up with him but he just stared at them blankly. “Take him to the nurse's office,” Frida said out loud, but Reece only managed to shake his head in denial. “Are you okay?” Frida a
This place used to feel homie, a place where he could hide and escape the world with full confidence of his safety guaranteed. Reece could not bring himself to reply to the flirtatious greetings of Mark Logan. “Mark.. please do tell that son of mine to hurry up” his mother’s voice rang through the building. “Come on sweet cheeks, we can't keep everyone waiting” Watching his back disappear towards the direction of the dining, Reece casually slumps to the wall, his hand over his beating heart. Last night had been peaceful, unlike the fears that he had bottled up, he was more than grateful Aryan made no moves on him, he was gentle and had taken the initiative to prepare breakfast before his departure. This was his home but deep down Reece wished he could return to the home of Aryan. For some reason, his mind could not think of a safer place despite his head reminding him of his experience with Aryan. Reece watched his mother and everyone laugh and chat like the family they were. All
Reece whined and turned trying hard to find more warmth. His body readily moves to the closest he can feel as he wraps his hands around it. “This will be the death of me if you should wake up and find us in such a position” Aryan smiles, taking his hands off Reece. The sun was up and he had called for a day off. Aryan sat up staring at the boy in his arms, as the memories of the previous night came flooding into his mind… Aryan had a stressful day, walking off campus made him yearn for nothing but his bed. He was more than tired to eat or doing anything else. Aryan stepped down from his car and walked into his apartment, dragging his tired body along. For some reason, he did not feel as comfortable as yesterday. “I've been waiting,” a voice said from above, making him stop abruptly. He did not like it, his body suddenly stiffened as he tried hard to hide his fear. “You know I hate waiting brother dear” came the voice again. Of Course, Aryan knew he hated waiting the most just as h
“I dare you to say that again… I am not the one who had carnal knowledge of a boy without his consent five years ago” Arnold backed furiously. “Oh really? I didn't know since I do not recall how he tasted, but not to worry, I do know how Reece does” Aryan stands up wiping his hands with the hand towel. “It was nice having dinner with you all but I am sorry I do have class tomorrow hence I should be on my way” he took a few steps towards the living area when he stopped abruptly. “What did you say?” he asked his mother who held her head up tight. “If you walk out that door… you cease to be my son and member of this family” Her words came like freedom to Aryan. As early as the age of four he was thought to see Arnold his twin, as superior. He was thought to stay away and only show up when called upon. He has known all his life to be the shadow of his twin brother and nothing more. “Oh, mother… I would have cried and begged to stay in your good grace if this had been said to me 15 y
A night has never been so frightening as the one Aryan just had. Being sick was one thing but watching someone close to his heart drift in and out of consciousness all through the night was torture he did not wish on his worst enemy. His private doctor had to come in the heat of the night and thankfully Reece was doing much better. Aryan carefully takes his hands away from him and climbs off the bed. It was morning and the sun was already up, he didn't have class but he had to make sure Reece had something to wake up to before he began with the handful of medication provided by the doctor. Reece’s eyes shot open, his brain trying to get back memories as his body went into a shock of pain. He whined holding hard to his head which ached so much. His body felt weak and his eyes blurred a little before adjusting to the lightening of the room, which was the guilty sunlight paving its way from the little cracks of the blinds. Seeing him all dressed up in warm clothes and carefully tucke
