Walking into the house he had just left barely hours ago cursing and vowing never to return felt like a joke.
Reece was not in the mood to talk or have small talk with the man before him, he was quick to head for the bedroom not giving Ayan time to say a word.
He stripped off his clothes heading for the bathroom, he was still in so much pain, and having a proper bath did not come easily.
Reece walks out of the bathroom, steam still coming off his body, he looks over to the bed where he had left his dirty clothes and none was there.
He carefully looked around the room and still, there was no sign of them, he did not want to go about searching Ayan’s closet, but staying in a towel was not the best idea either.
“Reece… Reece, wake up” Ayan gently taps Reece's shoulders waking the cute baby from his little slumber. Reece stirred in his sleep, throwing his legs apart.
“Hey, you're naked!!! wear something” Ayan urges him, holding the fragile boy up.
“Can't I sleep like this?” he whined even more in his sleep. Ayan stares at the boy for a while, a thousand emotions passing through him.
“No you can't,” he replies sternly, putting a black t-shirt over his head. Soon the warm protection over Reece’s body was snatched away making him curl up in a ball shape.
“Hey” he screamed while sitting up.
“Wear this' ' Ayan tossed a pair of white sweatpants to him before turning his back, giving the boy some privacy.
“As if you've not seen it all” Reece snarls quickly putting the pants on.
He did not like the chosen color, white was good but with someone like him with wounds and medication to be applied up his ass, he did not find the color sorting or appealing for the circumstance, but he dared not complain.
“Food is ready,” Ayan announced walking out of the room. He was shocked, Ayan had not only helped him into a clean shirt but also helped him apply his medication.
The cold-faced devil did not look like the type to make food for others talkless of calling on them.
Reece was rather more comfortable with settling on the option of not eating, but the constant rumbling of his stomach wouldn't let him.
He sluggishly drags himself out the door heading for the kitchen. He did not need to be shown around or worry about losing his way, at least not when the food smelled so good.
“Have a seat '' Ayan pulls out a chair for him. Reece sits down without another word, a delicious plate of creamy chicken orzo.
Reece quickly took out his fork digging into the delicious delicacy but as he ate something was off with the food. He drops his fork to the table staring at Ayan who follows his eyes.
“Any Problem? Is the food that bad?” Ayan questions but not a word comes from Reece. Ayan quickly takes a spoon, scooping a portion of Reece’s food and munching into it.
“It tastes okay to me,” he mumbles.
“At home, this usually comes with peas,” Reece suddenly said.
“And?” Ayan questions back, not sure where the cute boy was driving.
“But this one doesn't have peas, '' Reece says, tucking more into his food trying to find any available peas.
“Stop doing that… it has none” Reece turns to the man before him with a thousand questions.
“Why?” he managed to ask. “You don't eat it do you?'' Ayan replies, but Reece has his head bent and fully concentrated on his meal.
“I'm done” Before Ayan could say another word, Reece disappeared within the walls.
He rushed to the bedroom slamming the door behind him as he slumped to the floor, tears streaming down his eyes. He holds his hands over his mouth trying hard to submerge his sobs.
18 years of his life and for the very first time, someone took the initiative to give him what he likes and not what everyone else likes.
Reece did not want to go home, at least not when Mark Logan was there snooping around his room waiting for the perfect opportunity to make a move on him.
Reece has never had it easy, not when he had the perfect elder brother who did not wrong in the eyes of their parents, yet he was the only one at fault for being just too
“pretty for a boy” as they will say all the time. Reece did not know how much time had gone by but there was still no sign of Ayan, he knew what was coming and patiently waited.
He quickly got to the bed wearing nothing but his boxers, if he was going to have him again, there was no need to fight, not when he would hurt more when he did.
Soon after the door opens, Ayan walks in heading straight for the bathroom. He takes a quick shower and soon comes out in gray sweatpants and no shirt, ready for bed.
Reece scoops over trying to avoid being as close as possible which goes with being noticed by Ayan.
“Are you okay?” Ayan asks but Reece keeps quiet and holds on hard to the duvet.
“Hey,” Ayan scouts over, engulfing him in a tight hug.
“I won't do anything to hurt you, Reece… I know I was wrong and I won't touch you without your permission. Just don't push me away.” His words sounded so sincere. Reece leaned in sobbing quietly into his arms.
How was he to tell him he was scared out of his wits? How was he to open up to the man who raped him? How was he not to feel a spark in his heart towards the only person aside from his friends who considered his wants and needs?
“Can I hug you?” Reece murmurs barely audible but Ayan hears him loud and clear. Moving forward, he holds on tight to the fragile boy in his arms vowing to keep him safe and from any danger.
Reece walks into class heading straight for the back seat. He was not comfortable taking the first seat for the very first time. Not wanting to listen to the incoming noise from the other students as they wait for the teacher, he lazily pulls up his hoodie, over his head, and lays still on the desk. “Hey,” a voice wakes him from his slumber. “Wow..you look miserable.” Frida pulls out a seat by his side. “How are you doing? You do not look good” she added. Reece was not ready to say a word. So much was happening in his life at the time and worrying his friend was the very last on his mind. “Nothing… just stress from home” he shrugs facing the front. The teacher was running late and so was Clarkson, not like it was an unusual habit of his. Just when the teacher walks in, Clarkson appears at the door requesting entry like a dog on rainy days. “Mr Clarkson, do you have a baby you breastfeed before class?” Mrs Lavenda asked, bringing out her English teacher's book from her bag. “No
Reece felt his blood freeze within seconds, his throat felt dry, and his words caught up within his throat as much as he wanted to scream and cry out loud. Reece was frighteningly pale, and seconds ticked to minutes, his silence was a call for alarm. He rushed out of the cafeteria stumbling on his way out. Frida and Clarkson were quick to their heels chasing after him with a matter of urgency. Reece crashed his back against the locker, sliding down slowly while the words from earlier played in his head like a broken record. “On his 18th birthday,” he kept repeating. He did not know if he should laugh or cry. “It was my 18th birthday too, he raped me… he is a serial rapist” was what he wanted to scream out loud but the words sucked up in his throat so painful to be voiced out. Frida and Clarkson soon caught up with him but he just stared at them blankly. “Take him to the nurse's office,” Frida said out loud, but Reece only managed to shake his head in denial. “Are you okay?” Frida a
This place used to feel homie, a place where he could hide and escape the world with full confidence of his safety guaranteed. Reece could not bring himself to reply to the flirtatious greetings of Mark Logan. “Mark.. please do tell that son of mine to hurry up” his mother’s voice rang through the building. “Come on sweet cheeks, we can't keep everyone waiting” Watching his back disappear towards the direction of the dining, Reece casually slumps to the wall, his hand over his beating heart. Last night had been peaceful, unlike the fears that he had bottled up, he was more than grateful Aryan made no moves on him, he was gentle and had taken the initiative to prepare breakfast before his departure. This was his home but deep down Reece wished he could return to the home of Aryan. For some reason, his mind could not think of a safer place despite his head reminding him of his experience with Aryan. Reece watched his mother and everyone laugh and chat like the family they were. All
Reece whined and turned trying hard to find more warmth. His body readily moves to the closest he can feel as he wraps his hands around it. “This will be the death of me if you should wake up and find us in such a position” Aryan smiles, taking his hands off Reece. The sun was up and he had called for a day off. Aryan sat up staring at the boy in his arms, as the memories of the previous night came flooding into his mind… Aryan had a stressful day, walking off campus made him yearn for nothing but his bed. He was more than tired to eat or doing anything else. Aryan stepped down from his car and walked into his apartment, dragging his tired body along. For some reason, he did not feel as comfortable as yesterday. “I've been waiting,” a voice said from above, making him stop abruptly. He did not like it, his body suddenly stiffened as he tried hard to hide his fear. “You know I hate waiting brother dear” came the voice again. Of Course, Aryan knew he hated waiting the most just as h
“I dare you to say that again… I am not the one who had carnal knowledge of a boy without his consent five years ago” Arnold backed furiously. “Oh really? I didn't know since I do not recall how he tasted, but not to worry, I do know how Reece does” Aryan stands up wiping his hands with the hand towel. “It was nice having dinner with you all but I am sorry I do have class tomorrow hence I should be on my way” he took a few steps towards the living area when he stopped abruptly. “What did you say?” he asked his mother who held her head up tight. “If you walk out that door… you cease to be my son and member of this family” Her words came like freedom to Aryan. As early as the age of four he was thought to see Arnold his twin, as superior. He was thought to stay away and only show up when called upon. He has known all his life to be the shadow of his twin brother and nothing more. “Oh, mother… I would have cried and begged to stay in your good grace if this had been said to me 15 y
A night has never been so frightening as the one Aryan just had. Being sick was one thing but watching someone close to his heart drift in and out of consciousness all through the night was torture he did not wish on his worst enemy. His private doctor had to come in the heat of the night and thankfully Reece was doing much better. Aryan carefully takes his hands away from him and climbs off the bed. It was morning and the sun was already up, he didn't have class but he had to make sure Reece had something to wake up to before he began with the handful of medication provided by the doctor. Reece’s eyes shot open, his brain trying to get back memories as his body went into a shock of pain. He whined holding hard to his head which ached so much. His body felt weak and his eyes blurred a little before adjusting to the lightening of the room, which was the guilty sunlight paving its way from the little cracks of the blinds. Seeing him all dressed up in warm clothes and carefully tucke
It's been two days and Reece has not come around, not much to Aryan surprise. "I will be gone longer... DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR TO ANYONE" Aryan warned sternly. He has been handling everything, picking up notes for Reece and making sure no one gets to know his whereabouts, most importantly Frida Amnell and Clarkson Runs who have been combing the entire campus in search of news of their friend. "I won't be opening the door to anyone, don't treat me like some kid" Reece snaps pulling his duvet over his body. He was tired of staying home, but Shelly warned him against returning, at least not when Mark roamed around like a leeching plague. "I will be back soon," Aryan announced walking out of the room. Reece did not see reasons why he had to inform him of his daily activities. They were nothing to each other and he intended to keep it that way. Reece quickly stands up when he hears Aryan's car drive off the building. He had been more than eager to have a tour of the penthouse and now t
The door suddenly burst open and there stood another Aryan. "Aryan" Reece called out trying hard to make sure he was not just hallucinating. "Get off him" Aryan roared, rushing over to the stranger and tossing him away from Reece. He quickly takes the frightened boy into his arms, consoling him as he brushes his hair tenderly to the back. "It's okay...I'm here, no one will hurt you" he whispers, staring daggers at the man before him, a replica of himself. "You should go, Arnold...I don't want trouble" Aryan carefully placed Reece on the bed staring daggers at his brother. "What more do you want, Arnold? I have stayed away, I have given in to every demand of yours. I have been the big brother who has loved you and done everything to make sure you deserve nothing but the best and this is how you rob it to my face?" Arnold stands up cleaning the blood from the corner of his mouth. "Help me?" he spat bitterly. "You did nothing for me, I was the one they should have chosen and not yo
