Mia’s POV

When he made that rude comment, the girl from the interview sniggered.

Not wanting to be pushed into saying or doing what I will later regret, I walked out of the kitchen to the serving area.

“So what do I do, Miss—?”

“Elsie. My name is Elsie,” she said without an expression of any sort on a smooth and clear face.

I should get along with this one no matter what; she definitely knows a lot about skin care.

“Elsie. Got it,” I nodded.

“Just wipe the plates clean and arrange them over there." She points at a place outside the counter.

"Okay,” I kept my bag on a table that was empty and made to get the plates.

“Aren’t you going to wear an apron?” She asked.

“No need. I’m comfortable this way,” I smiled warmly at her.

“It’s not about you. It’s the company’s rule,” she stated.

“Really?”

“Yes

“Okay. Where can I get one?”

“Give me a moment.”
