Alpha Lucas’ POV

I look at myself in the giant mirror in my room and I feel satisfied with how I looked in my new tailored clothes, the dark blue tailcoat suited perfectly, and I move away from the mirror.

I suddenly heard a knock on the door and grumbled ‘Come in’ The door opened revealing Emma, my eyes softened when she entered the room

“You called for me,” Emma said and I nodded

“Yes, come here,” she said while I was struggling with my buttons, she moved closer to me and gave me a wary look before helping me with the buttons, I let her do it

“Why did you call for me?” she asked

“I will be leaving the pack soon to attend some meeting,” I said, and she paused what she was doing before she returned to buttoning my sleeve, “you won’t say a thing?” I asked.

“Be careful and come back safely” she said, looking into my eyes and I smiled faintly

“I will,” I said, and she nodded, and she took a step away from me when she was done buttoning the shirt. “I will call for you when I am back,”
