Chapter 5: A Deal With The Devil

 (Ares POV)

Our car slowly entered in the Rogue Alpha’s territory and my heart was thudding loudly against my ribcage. I don’t want to let down my father because It is the first time in my life that he asked me something and I didn't have the power and courage to say no to him. Although, I said Yes to him but I didn’t know a bit about this alpha, whom I was supposed to meet and convince to sign a deal with us. It was near to impossible but I have no other way. Father already informed me that he asked every single alpha for help but they all refused to offer any help to us, It was our last hope. I take a few deep breaths to calm my erratic heart. A big white and grey color building was standing in front of us proudly which was looking like a palace or a big pack house. The car halted with a light screeching sound and now, I have to go to him and convince him to sign this contract. 

“I will come back after an hour, Wait for me here. But, No need to follow me,” I instructed my driver and he nodded obediently. I slowly stepped out of the car and looked around. The guards were present in a specific uniform but were looking a lot better in physique and strength as compared to our guards. No doubt, This alpha was so cocky and proud. I walked straight to the pack house and surprisingly, No one stopped me and asked me about my destination. I was in a navy blue tuxedo and asked the guards about the alpha. 

“He is waiting for you in his office,” He answered while directing me towards his office. It was quite surprissing for me and i nodded before knocking the door of his office. 

“Come in,” His voice was loud and deep which send shivers to my body. 

“Snap out of it, Ares! Your people needs you and your attention at this moment. Get a grip, You horny man!!!” I chided myslef and slowly turned the knob of the door and entered in this office. Which was present in the pack house. I heard, he has another office in the pack which he used for official meeting and it was same like offices in the big cities but I didn’t see it, just heard about it. 

“Take a seat, Ares,” He said while gesturing towards the chair, present in front of his pine wood table. I take the seat while thanking him. He closed his tablet and looked towards me. I felt like my breath hitched in my throat and my heart skipped a beat after looking into his steel grey eyes. I have never seen this mesmerizing eyes before. He has a powerful aura around me and his power was literally oozing out of his body in waves. He should me Dom and I can bet, He would be great one. I quickly snapped out of the trance and looked towards him but I didn’t miss the arrogant smirk which was present on his face. I cleared my throat before telling him the reason behind this meeting.

“Thank you so much, Alpha Vincenzo. I am happy that you accepted my request and gave me the permission of this meeting. I came here with a proposal deal. As you heard that our pack was under attack just a few days ago and Vampires almost destroyed it completely. Just more than a hundred members survived and they need protection. Our every warrior lost his life in that attack and now, We need protection and security. I have heard that you have the most efficient warriors in the whole US. So, If you agreed to invest our pack and help it to gain its footing again then we will give you 50% share of the profit for the next ten years. But, This can be negotiated,” I quickly informed him the reason behind my visit. I quickly wanted to finish everything and came back to my pack because his eyes were fixed on my face the whole time, Which was making me extremely nervous. 

“Why didn’t you contact any other pack with this tempting offer?” I knew that he will surely ask about it, so I was prepared beforehand. 

“I tried but they refused to help us,” I answered honestly because I don’t want any secret in this deal. 

“hmmm…You didn’t hide behind a lie to get this help. I must say, I am impressed. Okay then, I am ready to invest in your pack. I will not only invest my money but will also provide you with my guidance and well-trained warriors,” A small smile crept on my lips after hearing his words. 

“But, I have a few conditions as well,” He said and I nodded quickly because I was ready to complete her every demand in order to get this deal sign. At least, I didn’t fail in it like every other thing. 

"What are your conditions?" I asked in a quite confident voice.

"You have to be my slave for a year," My eyes widened in shock.

"What!!! Your slave?" I was about to choke on my words.

"Yes, My slave! If you are ready to accept this condition then I am willing to sign the contract with you. Think about it, Take your time after all it is about your pack and people," He gave me the time and choice but I knew I didn't have one in this situation. My palms turn sweaty when I think about it but I have no other way but to sign the deal.

"I-i am ready to sign the contract," I answered and got up from my seat. I was about to stand up but his hand stopped me and I could feel his hot breath on my neck.

"Good! I will see you as my slave next time," His deep tone sent shivers down my spine.
