Ferdinand had a grief expression on his face. How’d you know?’ written all over their faces. Even if Ferdinand tried to be subtle, it wasn’t subtle enough for him.

“Pardon me, I don't quite understand what you are trying to say here.” Ferdinand maintained his awkward smile.

Draco regarded Ferdinand with a bemused expression. “Look who’s all grown up, trying to lie to me and all.”

“Sure.” Draco acknowledged his statement.

“You look… powerful.”

Ferdinand hadn’t seen the old dragon since the reign of the old tyrant king… no, a couple of years ago when he asked for the nails. Draco hadn’t aged a day, his skin covered in bright ink, his eyes liquid tar, his arrogant face.

“You look so much like your father,” Draco noted. “The old tyranny who dares to injure my baby son.” He ground his teeth at the last sentence. “I hear they call you the Ambitious Emperor of The Unknown now.
