A Late Night Date

A shadow loomed around the empty kitchen area after a long day, feeling extremely dehydrated. With tiny shuffles, that shadow pulled open the refrigerator and delved inside it. A tiny hand pulled out the cold bottle and twisted open the cap and at the same time kicked the refrigerator close.

The second sip was mediocre at best but she didn’t want to waste the water, so she drank it, anyway.
