*Third Person's Pov*
As soon as they entered the infirmary, the queen's heart were torn apart when she saw her daughter's state. She's laying on a bed with bruises in her once fair white skin. Her pinkish lips turned pale and her golden hair almost fade it's glow.
"My daughter," she said in the middle of her tears. She caressed her daughter's cheeks who were as pale as her lips."Mommy is here my princess you don't have to be afraid." She held her daughter's left hand and gently kisses the top of it. "Maurice, she will be fine," the king said to comfort his wife. He held his daughter's hand as well and kisses her forehead."Their will never be light in our lives if we lost you darling. So please wake up and come back to us. We beg you." The king wasn't able to stop himself from crying. She might not be their own flesh and blood but in their hearts she is their one and only daughter. The one who brought joy into their hearts.
"Wake up darling, we will wait for you. Please wake up!" the queen and king cried while they both hug their daughter."Your majesty, your highness," Leana called them nervously. She's afraid that they will blame her for her negligence. But she is ready to be blamed, she accepts the fact that it was her fault as well. If only she stayed with the princess, things shouldn't have turned out this way. She could have protected her!The king and queen both turned around to face her. Leana bowed down her head while her hands were shaking."How could you let this happen Leana?" the king shouted angrily at her.Leana's legs trembled in fear. She's constantly sweating and wasn't able to utter even a single word. "Answer me Leana!" the king yelled at her.
"Your-----majesty, I left that morning to get some food for the princess. I thought nothing bad will happen to her since I left her inside our room. But when I return I saw her on the ground," she said while crying. "I'm really sorry your majesty, I failed to protect the princess. I deserve to die," she continued.
"Just pray that my daughter comes back to us safe from that venom or you will be sold to the slave market for your negligence!" Leana froze because of the king's words. She's not afraid of being sold in the slave market, she's afraid of the punishment the Gods and Goddesses would give her if they lost the chosen one.
"Calm down my king, we don't have to blame Leana. We both know that she's very loyal to our daughter. What happened is not her fault," the queen said to calm her husband down.
"Whatever you say Maurice!"
"Your Majesty!" The doctor who have just came back after she left to get some medicines for the princess greeted the king and queen nervously."Tell us some good news doctor!" the king shouted angrily at her."We're sorry to tell you this but the princess is in a critical state. We don't know how to remove the venom from her blood," the doctor explained. The queen cried even more because of what she heard. While the king slammed his fist on the wall. Both Leana and the doctor trembled in fear because of what he did.
"We will bring my daughter back to the palace. The royal physician will take care of her!" the king stated. The doctor slightly nod. She's thinking that it's the best thing to do right now. Royal physicians were trained very well and they have passed through a lot of tests before they become one. That's why she's really confident that the royal physician will be able to cure the princess using his skills.
"I told Caflon to inform him as soon as possible. Now all you have to do is ready the princess because we will be heading back to the palace!" the king ordered the nervous doctor.
Meanwhile, Princess Diane and Prince Lyndon were on their way to the snake hunter's lodge."What the hell is this place? I don't even hear a single sound from an animal. Is this forest dead or cursed?" Prince Lyndon complained that made Princess Diane mad."Will you please shut up Lyndon? My head is about to burst because of the too much stress you're giving me!" she complained.
"I'm sorry Diane. It's just that, this forest is a lot more different than the first time I went here," Prince Lyndon explained. Princess Diane stopped walking and turned around to face him.
"What do you mean? You've been here before?" she curiously asked.
"Yes, me and my dad used to come here during autumn season."
"What were you doing here then?" the princess asked while raising her left brow.
"We always come here to talk to the snake hunter. Because we always receive complaints from our people about the wild animals killing their sheeps. So we went her to seek help."
"It means that he's not just a snake hunter? He can also hunt different kinds of animals?" The prince laughed hard because of the princess's statement.
"Of course! He's a hunter and he is capable of hunting everything. It's just that he's more tough when it comes to hunting snakes that's why he was called snake hunter," the prince explained.
"Oh that makes sense. Then what about this forest during those times? Did you see a lot of animals in here?" she asked curiously. The prince nodded in response.
"Did you know that once we stumbled on a lion in here? I was really nervous that time that I was constantly screaming for help." Princess Diane wasn't able to stop herself from laughing so hard because of what she heard."A prince that's supposed to be mighty and brave knows how to scream?" she teased."I was still young at that time. And mind you, it wasn't just an animal. It's a big carnivorous lion!" he said emphasizing the word lion."I know, but still it's inappropriate for a prince to scream like a girl who have just seen a frog!" the princess said while laughing."Go on, laugh all you want!" Prince Lyndon said angrily. Then he walked pass her."Sorry, it's just that I never thought you were that afraid of lions.""Everyone's afraid of lions!" the prince insisted."Enough of this nonsense! We need to hurry look for that hunter so that we could justify our accusations towards Amira. We need to punish that traitor!""You're right. We have to hurry!" Then they started looking for the hunter's house again.
While looking for the hunter's house they stumbled on an old woman who looks so skinny. She's wearing a rag and her face is covered with dirt.
"I'm thirsty," the poor old woman said. They suddenly felt pity towards her that's why they offered her some water to drink. "Thank you, you two are very kind," the woman said politely."We are always happy to help grandma," Princess Diane told her with a smile. While Prince Lyndon just gave her a smile."I know, and I could see that you are both destined to do great things. You will save this world from disaster!" the woman said that made them speechless. They looked at each other as if trying to figure out what the woman had just told them.
Princess Diane's Pov; It's almost dark when we found the hunter's home. Unlike the other side of the forest, the area where his house is located looks lively. I could hear some birds singing, squirrels roaming around and some ducks swimming on the lake near his small house. "Are you sure this is the hunter's lodge?" I asked Lyndon. It's really hard for me to believe that a strange snake hunter would live in this place. I mean, this place looks exactly like a happy home where a happy family could live freely. It might be far from the city but this place is actually the place where I want to stay whenever I'm stressed with palace duties. "Surely this is! I could still remember the scenario I have
Queen Maurice's Pov; "Your highness the venom is starting to circulate in her body. Even her bones were starting to go weaker because of it," the royal physician explained as soon as he's done checking my poor daughter. My feet suddenly felt weak and my tears were unstoppable. I almost fall to the ground, it's a good thing that Kaira is standing behind me and she was able to catch me before I even fall. "Your highness, the princess will recover. She's a strong girl, I'm pretty sure she will fight for her life," she assured me. "I agree with Kaira your highness. I have known the princess for years and I already know how brave she is," the royal physician said, trying to lighten up the burden in my heart. &nbs
*Queen Maurice's Pov;* "Where is that snake hunter?" my husband asked while clenching his jaw. As if on cue the palace door opened and a tall man in his mid 50's started walking towards our direction. Judging from the way he walks and how his shoulders tremble, I could hardly tell that he's nervous. "Your majesty-" He wasn't able to continue his words because the king approached him and punched his face. "How dare you trade my daughter's life for money? Don't you know how much this land would suffer if we lost her? This land will no longer see the light of the day!" he shouted angrily. "I'm so sorry your majesty, but please let me explain first," the man begged. I stood up from my seat and went to my husband. "Hon, let him spea
*Princess Anatalia's Pov* My blood boiled after hearing my brother's words. He will demote my daughter and kick her out of Citrine? How could he do this to my Amira! I walked as fast as I could to the carriage that's waiting for me outside the palace. I will never let them succeed on their plans against my daughter. I will make them experience my wrath! "Where are we going your highness?" my lady-in-waiting asked me as soon as I steeped out of the palace gates. "We are going to the secret council Masha," I told her while clenching my jaw. "And inform my daughter about her punishment. Send someone to the university and never let her go back to the palace while we are still fixing things!"
*Third Person's Pov* When the night came, the rebels started to march from the capital to the palace. They brought torches to light their way and everyone is dressed in full battle gear. "Tonight is the night that we are going to change history!" their leader shouted. "Victory is ours!" everyone chanted. When they reach the palace they tried to break the gates by putting fire on it. The palace guards were alarmed. They started to fire arrows to the rebels. Arrows fall like rain from the sky hitting some of them. Blood and fire scattered everywhere. Some of the rebels died in an instant while the others were wounded. But despite of the casualties th
*Prince Zion's Pov* I stared at the white ceiling of my room. Days already passed since that incident, yet here I am still fighting this feeling that's starting to grow inside me. My heart tells me to visit her and see if she's already okay but my mind keeps telling me the other way around. It never stops reminding me that she is the reason why I'm here acting as the Prince of Etheor. My mission is to kill her, but instead I have fallen deeply and madly inlove with her. So deep that I think I'm already drowning with the thought of protecting her and disobey my father. "I know what you're thinking," Stefan suddenly spoke while resting his chin on his hands. I glared at him. "So you're now a wizard that knows how to read minds?"
*Third Person's Pov* Prince Zion and Stefan used teleportation spell to reach the palace. They went straight to the princess's room. "Stefan, use invisibility spell and stay outside. Notify me if somebody is coming," Prince Zion told Stefan. "Yes your highness." He bowed down his head and chanted the invisibility spell. Then he left the room, leaving prince Zion alone with the princess. He walks towards the direction of the princess who's peacefully sleeping on her bed. He stared at her for a second and his tears started swelling in his eyes. He caress his beloved's face. "My beauti
*Amira's Pov* "Your highness the crown princess is already awake. The whole palace is celebrating!" Ashley told me when he entered my room. I'm currently fixing all my things because my 'oh so good' uncle decided to throw me out of the palace. "Stop calling me your highness! I'm already demoted! And as for that Ana Mae and all those annoying people in this palace, they have time to celebrate even if my mom just died yesterday?" I shouted angrily at her. "Your highness, you will forever be a princess in my heart. Wherever you go, just know that I will forever be with you," she assured me. "Thank you for your loyalty Ashley
*First Person's POV* Just as when I was about to blame myself, Leanna spoke, "No madame! The Gods did not sacrifice all of you!" The woman diverted her gaze to her. "And how did you know?" she asked while raising her left brow. "Because I'm one of the servants of the Gods. I am the guardian of the chosen one, and I know the whole story," Leanna stated while the woman stared at her with wide eyes. "So you're one of their accomplices? And you planned all of this just to know our whereabouts and sacrifice our lives once again? I really can't believe that the Gods could be that selfish! "No! I just want you to know the truth!" "We already know what the truth is!" the woman insisted."When we met the dark immortals earlier they told us that the reason why you hid yourselves down here, is that you are all selfish. But I did not believe them, because I don't want to judge someone without even knowing the truth. I just hope you will do the same with the God
First Person's POV; "ZION!" I heard Diane screaming Zion's name. She must've been worried about him but the big question in my mind right now is, why would Zion risk his life to protect me? I stared at his eyes but still I could not see any emotion from it. He's still as cold as ice. "Your highness ,you better not forget our mission. Don't be so careless, or you might get yourself killed," Stefan said and Zion automatically let go of me. It's as if he was burned or something. "Are you okay Ana?" Diane asked as she hurriedly run towards me. Lyndon and Leanna did the same thing and they started checking if I got wounds or bruises. "I'm fine guys, you don't have to worry about me," I told them with a smile. The three of them stared at Zion with confusions written all over their faces. They were probably thinking on why the hell would Zion save my life, when he's obviously one of our enemies wishing for my death. Well, I wonder the same thing though. Maybe it
*First Person's Pov*Our journey to the North side of the forest lasted for two dark days. We were all exhausted when we reach the pear plantation. The place was serene and just like the other side of the forest, we did not see even a single animal walking around. All we could see through the tiny light of the moon are tall pear trees with fruits shining as it's touched by the moonlight."How are we going to find the white oracles here? All that's here are pear trees," Diane said frustratingly."Haven't you heard what Leanna told us before we came here? Pears are what the white oracles eat. So I'm pretty sure we're going to find one here!" Lyndon told Diane with a glare. I can't believe these two are starting to have their quarrels again."Guys please just be quite. We're not trying to let them know we're here and run off, aren't we?" I hushed them out."Sorry Ana, it just that there's some grinch over here!" Diane rolled her eyes at Lyndon."So you dare to say that I'm a grinch?
*First Person's POV*Just by looking into his eyes I realised how much I've longed for him. And in a split second I found myself drowning in the valley of his gaze as I danced with the rhythm of my heart. I don't need a love like Romeo and Juliet's, nor of Edward and Bella. What I want is a unique and pure love whom I can call my own."Zion," I mumbled as the wind gently blows, touching his face. He stared at me emotionless, it's as if he doesn't even know who I am. How come? I thought our love was unforgettable. But it seems like I'm the only one who thinks that way."Oh my dear cousin." I was pulled out from my fantasies when I heard my cousin's voice."Amira? What are you doing here?" I asked her in disbelief. Don't tell me, that she and Zion came here together? My questions were answered when she clung to Zion's arms and smirked at me."Oh my dear cousin, it seems like you have fallen in love with someone you don't know," she told me with a smirk."What are you talking about
*Third Person's POV*"That chosen one is starting to piss me off!" Velion shouted angrily after receiving the news from the raven he sent to follow Princess Ana Mae."I did not know that they could easily know the secret on how to defeat those spirit knights," Amira said in disbelief. Velion stared at her angrily and she nervously swallowed the lump in her throat."And you! You're a coward! You should've fought with her instead of leaving those spirit knights alone!" he yelled at her. "You could've defeated her since I have given you a lot of powers. But you're still useless!""I'm sorry my king, I promise to do my job better next time. Just please don't punish me," she begged. She's too scared to be killed. She don't want to die without avenging her mom. Besides, all her efforts would be in vain if Velion would kill her now."Surely you will. Because if you fail this time, I will kill you without having a second thought," he warned her. "I promise my king, just tell me what you wan
*First Person's POV* The woods were covered with darkness and just like when we first entered this forest, we did not see even a single animal. Not even a chirp from a bird could be heard. "It's getting creepier in here," Diane whispered to me while biting her nail. It's some kind of mannerism for her whenever she fell nervous. "I know but we still have to travel to the North part of this forest. We need to find the white oracles as soon as possible," I told her. And with the tiny light from the moon, I saw her pout. "Yeah but don't you think we need to rest a bit? Those dark spirit knights drained all my strength," she complained which made me chuckle. "I think you're right. After all we're all exhausted after that intense fight ,we all deserve to rest," I agreed with her. "Let's look for a safe place to camp," Lyndon suggested. We all agreed and look for a safe place to stay. Leanna walked farther from us so she could check if the area is safe.
"What shall we do now?" Diane said in panick. They were on their way to Alectrona's home on top of the mountain. They were walking on the dark woods and there's not even a sign of life there. It seems like even the animals were hiding because they're too afraid of the never ending night. "If we see Alectrona there, it would be the best option for us to bring her with us to the heaven realm, but if she's no longer herself then we have to prepare to defend ourselves," Leanna reminded everyone."She's right, we have to be prepared for anything," Lyndon added."And where the hell do you think you're going?" A cold voice from behind suddenly spoke."Who's that?" Princess Ana shouted as she motioned everyone to ready their weapons. Lyndon took out his sword while Diane prepared her bow and arrow. Leanna stood infront of Princess Ana to protect her from sudden attacks."HAHAHAHAHA how rude of you my dear cousin. You seem to be forgetful nowadays. It's bad."All of a sudden Princess Ana reme
*Third Person's Pov*Alectrona the Goddess of the sun is on her way to her home on top of the mountain after having a chat with the Gods when all of a suddden she felt something strange around her. She looked around to check for someone following her but the woods were silent and all she could hear is the sound of the night owl."I know there's somebody following me," she said to herself. She could feel a dark aura behind her and it's making her nervous. She took out her sword to prepare herself from possible attacks."HAHAHAHAHAHA stupid Alectrona, don't tell me your powers are not that strong anymore? Why don't you call the sun to come out to help you find me." She felt goosebumps when she heard an evil voice behind her. The voice is so familiar to her."VELION!" she shouted angrily. "HAHAHAHAHA you got it right baby," the voice replied and in a split second she found herself being surrounded by dark smoke."You will never get me infected with your stupid miasma. NEVER!" she
*First Person's Pov*I've been like an idiot waiting for the rubies and doves to appear. The prophecy might be wrong, or maybe my mortal parents found a different child and I'm not really the Goddess of Love's daughter. And just when I thought I disappointed everyone, I saw hope on their faces when I opened my eyes. They all believe in me, and I should be doing the same thing to myself."I can do this!" I encouraged myself before I closed my eyes once again.I thought about everyone, about the two worlds that I need to protect from Velion's greed. And in my vission I saw the children's innocent faces, couples living a happy life together, trees, animals. Everyone is living a happy and peaceful life, and I could not afford to fail them. They all deserve a life like that and it will all depend on me. I'm the chosen one and I should believe that the prophecy chose me because I am strong and capable."Wow they're beautiful!" I automatically opened my eyes when I heard Diane's words. And
