Chapter 26 — Aria's POV

The morning sun painted the sacred grove in shades of gold and amber as I settled onto the cool grass. Dawn was just breaking, and honestly? I would've much rather been curled up in bed between Kane and Zane. But according to Liora, this was prime time for “spiritual alignment” or whatever.

“Your aspects are strongest when nature is in transition,” she'd told me yesterday, all serene and angel-like. Easy for her to say — she probably didn't need beauty sleep.

I crossed my legs, trying to find a comfortable position that wouldn't leave my butt completely numb. The grove was beautiful though, I had to admit. Ancient trees formed a perfect circle around me, their leaves whispering secrets in the morning breeze.

“Focus inward,” Liora's voice echoed in my memory. “Each aspect of your nature has its own consciousness, its own memory. You must learn to communicate with them all.”

Right. Because apparently having five different supernatural aspects wasn't complicated

Chapter 27 — Kane's POV Even hours after Aria's display in the sacred grove, I could still feel the residual power humming through our mate bond. I decided to go to the library to get some answers. “Who is Azrael? What does he want with Aria.” The pack library was quiet at this late hour, but my mind was anything but peaceful. I searched for ancient texts and scrolls, keeping it all on my desk, their musty pages holding secrets. As I was searching, a journal caught my eyes, I picked it and opened it.“Fuck,” I muttered, running my hand through my hair as I stared at the journal in front of me. It was Aria's grandmother's — Maria Evans — and what I was reading made my blood run cold.“The blessing must be performed under the blood moon,” the elegant handwriting declared. “Only then can angelic grace overcome the darkness in the bloodline. My grandchild must be protected from HIS influence…”The way she wrote “HIS” — like she could barely bring herself to acknowledge who she meant. I

Chapter 28 — Zane's POV I felt Aria's distress explode through our mate bond before Kane's frantic message even reached me. One second I was patrolling the eastern border, the next I was on my knees from the force of her emotional pain. “What. The. Hell.”“She knows,” Kane's voice echoed in my mind. “About Azrael. Her parents. Everything. She ran.”Of course she did. Because nothing in our lives could ever be simple.I shifted immediately, my wolf form better suited for tracking. Aria's scent trail blazed like a supernatural beacon through the forest — a mixture of all five of her aspects swirling together in chaos. But when I tried to follow it, I slammed into an invisible wall.“Seriously?” I growled, shifting back to human to examine the barrier. Pure angelic energy rippled in the air, unconsciously created by Aria's distress. Even touching it sent tingles through my hand.“Remember what Liora taught us,” I thought, recalling our tracking lessons. Each supernatural type left dist

Chapter 29 — Aria's POV The pack house felt different after everything that went down. Different, but somehow safer. My body ached in places I didn't even know could ache, and my supernatural energy felt like a live wire randomly sparking inside me.“You're awake,” a familiar voice said.I turned my head to see Zane sitting beside my bed, his eyes watching me with this intense mixture of concern and relief. God, I'd run from him. From both of them. And they still showed up. Still protected me.“Hey,” I croaked, my throat feeling like I'd swallowed sandpaper.Kane appeared on my other side, holding a glass of what looked like some supernatural healing smoothie. Trust my mates to have a magical drink ready for every situation.“Drink,” Kane ordered, but there was softness in his voice. Not a demand. More like a request wrapped in pure love. The drink tasted like berries mixed with something herbal, and… was that a hint of magic? Probably. Everything in our world had a supernatural twis

Chapter 30 — Aria's POV My hands wouldn't stop shaking as I tried to explain the vision.“The moon,” I started, swallowing hard. “It was blood-red. But not like a normal lunar eclipse. This was… different. Wrong. Like someone had painted the sky with actual blood.”Kane was pacing, wolf energy crackling around him like static electricity. I wanted to reach for him, to calm him down, but I could barely keep myself together.“Azrael wasn't alone,” I forced the words out, feeling my throat tighten. “There was an army of rogue wolves and hunters. Dozens of them.”The room went dead silent. Even the magical runes on the walls seemed to dim. That's when it hit me again – the full force of what I'd seen crashing through my mental barriers. My hybrid energy went haywire, golden angelic light mixing with demon shadows around me like some kind of supernatural light show gone wrong. Great timing, powers. Really great.“Breathe, young one,” Liora stepped forward, her angelic energy reaching out

Chapter 31 — Aria's POV I woke up before dawn, which was weird enough on its own. Usually, Kane had to practically drag me out of bed for morning training. But today? My whole body was buzzing with energy. Like someone had plugged me into a supernatural power socket overnight. The pack bonds felt different too. Stronger. Clearer. I could sense everyone's energy signatures weaving together, and for once, my hybrid nature wasn't fighting against it. Instead, my power hummed in harmony with the pack's collective energy. Progress, right?“You're up early,” Kane said, finding me already dressed in training gear. He did that adorable double-take thing that always made me smile. “Who are you and what have you done with my mate?”I stuck my tongue out at him. Real mature, I know. “Maybe your training schedule is finally working. Or maybe I'm just awesome.”“Both,” Zane said, appearing with coffee. Have I mentioned how much I love my mates? Because coffee-bearing mates are the best mates.Mor

Chapter 32 — Aria's POV “Who are you?” I whispered, even as something deep in my hybrid nature responded to his presence.“I'm Aiden,” the stranger said, his voice calm and authoritative. “Your wolf guardian.”The pack house went completely silent. Time seemed to stop. Every supernatural being in the room froze, their collective energy creating a thick, almost tangible tension. Kane and Zane immediately moved, positioning themselves between Aiden and me, wolf energy crackling like live electrical wires. Their protective instincts were so synchronized it was almost beautiful — as if we weren't in the middle of a potentially catastrophic moment.“My wolf Guardian?” I repeated, my five aspects suddenly buzzing with recognition, especially my wolf. It was like each part of my hybrid nature was having its own internal conversation, responding to Aiden's presence in ways I couldn't fully understand.Victor, stepped forward, pulling out a complex magical device that looked like a cross betw

Chapter 33 — Aria's POV The next morning, Kane woke me up early to start training with Aiden. And when I say early, I mean ungodly early the kind of early where even the birds are still hitting snooze on their internal alarms.“Rise and shine, hybrid,” Kane said, much too cheerfully for the ungodly hour. His hand was on my shoulder, gently waking me up. I groaned and pulled the blanket over my head.“Five more minutes,” I mumbled.Kane's laugh was pure wolf-a deep rumbling sound that meant business. “Aiden's waiting. No more delays.”The moment I heard Aiden's name, something inside of me shifted. My five aspects, but most of all my wolf, stirred with a near electric anticipation. It was as if every single part of me knew something big was about to happen.I dragged myself out of bed and saw myself in the mirror, a mess, my eyes still with the heavy weight of sleep, but there was just something different. Chapter 95 — EpilogueFive years passed faster than a witch's broom on a moonlit night. Standing on the newly built observation deck, I barely recognized our territories anymore — in the best possible way. The celebration for our fifth peace anniversary had transformed the grounds into a festival of supernatural proportions.“Mama! Mama! Watch this!” Luna's voice carried across the courtyard. My five-year-old daughter stood in the center of a circle of young supernaturals, her silver hair glowing with combined witch-wolf power. Blue sparks danced between her fingers as she created intricate patterns in the air.Not to be outdone, her twin brother Ash had somehow managed to scale the academy walls — again. His dark hair contrasted sharply against the white stone as he moved with inherited vampire speed.“Ash Alexander!” Kane's authoritative voice boomed across the grounds. “What did we say about using vampire abilities without supervision?”Our son's face scrunched up in that particula

Chapter 94 — Aria's POVSunlight streamed through our bedroom windows, and for once, I woke up exactly where I wanted to be — sandwiched between Kane and Zane. A month had passed since the Luna ceremony, and life had settled into a new kind of normal. Well, as normal as life could be when you're mated to two alphas and running a supernatural melting pot.“Morning baby,” Mom called from the doorway, already dressed and holding two steaming coffee mugs. “Your boys have already left for patrol. Something about checking the new boundary markers.”I untangled myself from the sheets, accepting the coffee gratefully. “You're a lifesaver.”“That's what moms are for.” She settled into the window seat, her presence still sometimes surprising me. After years of separation, having her back felt like a dream. “Want to grab breakfast and visit your father?” We made a grave for him in the pack house. An hour later, we stood before Dad's grave. Chapter 93 — Zane's POVThe full moon hung low over our pack grounds as I watched Kane spin Aria around the dance floor. Her white dress caught the light of floating witch orbs, making her look almost ethereal. After everything we'd been through — the fights, the near-death experiences, the world-ending threats — seeing her smile like that made every secret planning session worth it.“She looks happy,” Kane said, materializing beside me with two glasses of the blood wine the vampires had brought. Its dark red contents sparkled with unnatural luminescence. I accepted the glass, remembering our late-night scheming. “Speaking of outdoing ourselves, remember when you nearly got caught by that witch patrol while sneaking in fabric samples?”Kane snorted, his usual serious expression cracking. “Worth it. Though next time we plan secret ceremonies, maybe we skip the full moon timing. Do you know how hard it is to be stealthy when everyone's senses are heightened?”“At least the witches boug

You know, the one we never had time for between all the fighting and world-saving?”I blinked. “My what now?”“Luna ceremony. That thing where we officially recognize you as our Luna in front of the pack.” He crossed the room to sit beside me. “And before you say we don't need it — we know. But we want to do this properly.”“But-”A knock interrupted my protest. The door opened to reveal my mom, holding an ornate wooden box. Behind her, Kane wore the biggest grin I'd ever seen on his face.“Surprise?” he offered.Mom's eyes were already tea

Chapter 91 — Aria's POV The shimmering in reality solidified into a girl about my age. She had a vampire's pale skin but a witch's aura — something I'd never seen before. Her dark hair was tied back in a messy braid, and her clothes showed signs of long travel. Though she looked exhausted, her eyes burned with desperate hope.“Are you her?” Her voice shook slightly. “The one who unified all five races?”Before I could answer, Kane and Zane burst into the clearing, powers ready. The girl flinched but held her ground, hands raised to show she meant no harm.“I'm not here to fight,” she said quickly. “My name is Mira. I… I felt what happened. What you became. I had to come.”I lowered my hands, my enhanced senses detecting no deception from her. “I'm Aria. These are my mates, Kane and Zane. How did you find us?”“I followed the energy signature. I've never felt anything like it.” Mira's eyes filled with tears. “I thought I was the only one who was… different. Who didn't fit anywhere.”K

Chapter 90 — Aria's POV The walk back to pack territory felt endless. Each step reminded me how much had changed in the past few hours. My newly unified powers thrummed under my skin, while traces of purified magic from the nexus followed us like loyal puppies, creating weird light shows in the early morning air.“You're brooding,” Kane said, his hand finding mine.“I don't brood.”“You totally brood,” Zane chimed in. “We can feel it through the bond now. Very dramatic.”I rolled my eyes, but their teasing helped lighten the heavy atmosphere. Our enhanced mate bond let me feel their underlying tension though — we were all worried about what we'd find at home. The first signs of battle stopped us in our tracks. Deep claw marks scored ancient trees. The ground was scorched in patches where magical attacks had landed. The metallic scent of blood lingered in the air.Kane's grip tightened on my hand. “There was a major fight here.”Through our bond, I felt him cataloging tactical details

Chapter 89 — Aria's POV The nexus light hit us like a tidal wave, and time seemed to freeze. One second I was trying to warn Kane and Zane about what I was sensing, and the next we were all caught in some kind of shared vision. Pure magical energy coursed through our mate bond, stronger than anything I'd felt before.“Holy shit,” I whispered, watching golden threads of destiny weaving between us. Each strand pulsed with possibility, showing flashes of futures I couldn't quite grasp. “Are you guys seeing this?”Kane's grip on my hand tightened. “The threads? Yeah. What the hell is happening?”I could barely focus on his words as understanding slammed into me. My transformation hadn't just changed me — it had shifted the entire balance of supernatural power. The purified nexus beneath our feet was already acting like a beacon, calling to others who wanted unity instead of the endless fighting between races.“Aria.” Kane's voice cut through my racing thoughts. Through our bond, I felt h

Each aspect enhanced the others instead of competing for dominance. The energy radiating from my skin cast dancing shadows across the ancient stones. I could feel every pulse of power, every current of magic flowing through the area. My enhanced senses picked up things I'd never noticed before — the way the lines hummed beneath the earth, how the very air crackled with supernatural energy.“Impossible,” Azrael spat, gathering stolen power around himself like a shield. Dark magic crackled between his fingers, but I could see how it fought against his control. “Those abilities are mine now!
