I blinked for what must’ve been ten times in a row.

How the hell was she doing that? I was far too stunned to speak or move.

Scarlett was indeed special, and not in the way a person you loved automatically seemed special, no. She was uniquely crafted, blessed by the moon goddess and gifted with a light that illuminated her room and the hallway I remained planted in.

Something, a force greater than I’d ever felt, was suddenly draining me towards her like a magnetic force field.

That very moment, her skin shone even brighter and her hair turned silver at the tips, making my mouth drop open in wonder. I didn’t know whether I should more worried than mesmerized, but my wolf was so enchanted by her that I couldn’t focus on any emotion other than awe.

Slowly, that awe seemed to fill every nerve ending in my body before morphing into adoration. I wanted to go to her and worship at her feet, I could feel that desire burning through me and it was gradually being amplified by my wolf.
