Blake had been whining for approximately ten minutes now.

Why? Because Alex and I had just broken the news about him officially being my mate the next morning at breakfast and he was being a typical last born about it. I found it really funny and so did Logan, but Alex didn’t share that opinion because he and Blake were evil twins in another dimension and lived off bickering.

“So the moon goddess is being picky? She’s handing out mate bonds based on age differences? I find that pretty weird and unfair,” Blake picked at his croissant and threw the crumb at Alex while Logan and I stifled laughter.

“Get over yourself, weirdo. It’s not some competition where it matters whose bond comes first or last, either way, we all know that the seer wasn’t lying,” Alex defended seriously, managing to catch the crumb before it hit him and throwing it back at Blake.

Easily, Blake caught the crumb and threw it back.
