Alex was such a sore loser, it pleased me to kick his ass and watch him whine.

“You’re cheating, aren’t you?! You have one of those cheat cards that always guarantees you a win!” he accused me when I kicked yet another one of his chess pieces off the board.

“It’s chess, you wacko. Why would I need cards to rig the game? Have you simply run out of sensible accusations?” I threw a popcorn at his head and he winced like it has hurt.

So dramatic.

“Harassing a player with food is foul play, that should cancel out your last five moves,” he stuck his tongue out like a child, one would think that he was the last of his siblings.

“So you want to cancel out all my moves so you can be ahead of the game just because I hit you with a harmless piece of popcorn?” I asked, laughing at his silliness.

“If you look really closely, you can see me bleeding,” he brought his head closer and I leaned forward just to humor him.

“Show me where it hurts,” I rolled my eyes at him, waiting for the
