67. Last Attempt

Maya woke up to the sound of an alarm that was supposed to wake her up. The girl immediately sat up before anyone else could wake her up. Maya did a simple stretch, before opening her bedroom window to stand on her private balcony. Evan's house is always surrounded by trees that cover his yard. Although the air wasn't as good as in Evan's villa in the village, the air quality in Evan's house wasn't too bad and had a slight floral scent when Maya took a deep breath there.

This was Maya's first day to actually attending her lectures. She was supposed to repeat her test next year after she missed another test session because she had to be taken to the hospital. But thanks to Evan's help and the university that are embarrassed because an unwanted incident happened at their place, Maya finally able to repeat the test because the accident wasn't really her fault.
