"Margaux? Sins of the past?" She kept repeating his words as she tried to comprehend what he had just said but the more she thought of it, the more confused she was. Why did he call her a different name? What did he mean by the sins she committed in the past? She looked at the window to ask him what he meant by that but he had already left leaving her all alone in this cold room. How could he just leave after calling her a name she had never heard and talking about the sins she committed in the past? How could he just leave without telling her the reason why he was doing all these?
April banged at the door again, hoping that the demon would show himself but he didn't, he didn't show up. She sighed loudly as she sat on the cold floor and cursed under her breathe already frustrated with everything going on. She wished all of these were a dream, she wished this was just a bad dream, a bad dream she desperately wanted to wake up from.

Damon who had just finished speaking with April looked really enraged. Just mere looking at her, he felt the urge to kill her, the urge to torture her to death. How dare she act all innocent? How dare she act like she did nothing in the past? He clenched his fist as he felt himself getting really provoked. No matter how badly he wanted to kill her, he had to suppress that urge, he had to stifle it for the main reason - breaking the curse.
Damon knew he wouldn't last long in stifling his anger because of that woman. Looking at that woman's face only brought back memories, memories of the events that happened three hundred years ago. "Bring Dana here." He said facing Connor.
Connor stilled when he heard the name 'Dana.' "You want me to bring Dana here?" Connor asked shocked by what Damon had asked him to do. Why would he need the witch queen here?
"I'm not patient enough to wait for her to regain her memory after waiting for three hundred years for her to be reborn so you bring Dana here to make her remember her past." Damon didn't care if the witch queen would have to take her back to the past, all he wanted was for her to just get her memory back and end it all. If only he could turn back time, if only he could....... he could go back to the past then he would have killed her when he had the chance to,probably all of these wouldn't have happened and Iris....... Iris wouldn't have been dead.
"Okay." Connor simply replied. He could see how desperate Damon was. If Dana could help her regain her memories then he would do anything to bring her here.

April woke up feeling weak. She had fallen asleep while thinking of a way to escape this room. The day had gotten dark and the room was very cold at night that her whole body was shivering from cold. As if that wasn't enough, her stomach rumbled begging for food. She had not eaten anything all day. Her body was battling with both hunger and cold and April knew that she might end up dying before he even kills her.
She had to escape, that was the only way to save herself. But how would she escape? She was locked in this room and there wasn't even a way she could escape. She thought of breaking the door but that would only alert the demon that she was planning on escaping and facing him was the last thing she would ever want because she knew she stand no chance against him. Just his deadly glares was enough for her to give up her plans on escaping.
April looked at the window that had been opened, she had thought of escaping through the window. Although the window looked a bit smaller for her that she doubted if she would be able to escape through the window. "We wouldn't know unless we try." She said to herself as she got up to climb the window but then she stopped. She might not really know that demon but she knew he wasn't stupid enough to leave the window open when he knew she might try to escape through it.
'What if this is a trap? A trap to lure you outside?' She heard her subconscious warning her to give up her plan of escaping because she would never be able to escape from the demon but April being her stubborn self refused to listen. This was the only way for her to save herself, she would rather try to do something to save herself than do nothing and end up dying in the hands of that monster. She had already made up her mind and nothing would stop her.
She took a deep breathe before climbing the window as she squeezed in to make herself fit into the window so she could jump down.
April jumped down from the window and gasped with pain as she sprained her ankle but she didn't have the time to look at her injured ankle. Now that she was finally out from that room, she had to run, run before the demon comes for her.
With the little energy in her, she limped as she searched for an exit, an exit that would lead her out of this godforsaken building. And finally, she found an exit. She sighed as she smiled, the heavens were probably on her side today.
She limped towards the exit but stopped on the way when she saw the demon standing at the exit. April felt the little hope in her crumbled down when she saw him. Though he wasn't even looking at her, his back was facing her but she knew.... she knew she would never be able to leave this house with him here, she would never be able to escape from him.
April felt hot tears rolling down her cheek as she bit her lower lip to fight back the tears rolling down.
Damon turned to face her, a smirk escaped his lips when he saw her looking devastated.
"Disappointed?" He spoke in a nasty unkind way as he walked closer to April until he was only a step away from her. There she saw his eyes weren't red but now greyish in colour. He pulled her head to lean against his shoulder. "It's time you know you'll never escape from me." He whispered into her ears.
It was as if he had just casted a spell on her, something like a black wisp of smoke surround her face and before she knew it, she was slowly getting lost in the dark. Her eyes that were initially awake suddenly began to fall unconscious.
"I.....hate.....you." She managed to curse out before her head collasped on his shoulder.
Five hundred years ago, the witches were ruled by the vampires which made them inferior to the blood sucking creatures. They lived together with the vampires in grey city but they were treated as slaves. Things changed for them when a new king of the vampires was crowned. The witch queen at that time consulted the King and made a request for the king to give her people their independence which was later granted by the king. Thus, he gave the witches grey forest for them to reside. From that moment, grey forest had been the witches territory. Connor arrived grey forest at dusk. He stood at the entrance of grey forest, staring at the beautiful scenery in front of him. It had been a long time he had come to grey forest, now that he was here,he realised how much he had missed this place. 'No, you probably missed a particular person staying here the most.' His subconscious teased him. The witches guarding the entrance gate slightly bowed when they saw Connor. They were surprised to see on
A bucket of water was poured over April's head, it had jolted her awake so rudely and without warning that her entire face was still dripping from the cold water. April opened her eyes, she saw her hands and legs were chained and she wasn't in the store room, where she was looked like a dungeon, a dark cold dungeon. Shocked at receiving such treatment, she struggled to free herself from the chain but felt sharp thorns piercing through her skin. April whimpered in pain as she stared at the chains with sharp thorns used to chain her. "I'd advise you not to struggle to free yourself unless you want to get hurt." She heard his cold voice echoed in the dungeon as he took a seat watching her as she whimpered in pain. He seemed to find pleasure in seeing her in agony. "The next time you try to run away from me, your mum and your best friend, Mandy or whatever she calls herself would also be punished." April felt her knee weakened as she heard his threats. She knew this man was
"It was you, Margaux." His lips twitched as anger overflowed his eyes. "The witch who cursed me three hundred years ago was you." April stilled, gobsmacked by what he had just said. 'She? She was a witch? She cursed him three hundred years ago?' She snickered as she found it hard to believe. Was this demon messing with her? Did he actually expect her to believe him? She had not even dealt with him being a demon and now what? She was a witch? "You don't believe me?""Who would believe the gibberish you just said?"Another long pause of silence followed, his gaze stayed glued on April that she felt like the demon was slowly seeing through her deepest soul, as though the gods bestowed on him the power to examine every human's deepest secrets.April's heart skipped when she saw him rise from his seat, walking closer to her. Each step he took caused her heart to pound faster. She would be lying if she said she wasn't scared of him, she was really scared of him even when he wasn't in h
Damon walked into the living room thinking about what he had just seen, no, she had revealed it to him. 'Why? Why did he....' He scoffed, he seemed to have forgotten who she was, she was a powerful witch, she was capable of manipulating his mind. She probably revealed that to him to save herself so he wouldn't kill her. "That cunning witch." He cursed and turned when he heard footsteps approaching. Dana, Connor and the ginger haired witch Lemuel entered the house. Dana had brought Lemuel along with her to avoid being alone with Connor. She bowed when she saw Damon fold his arms as he approached them. "I was told you asked for me." Dana said as she raised her head to look at him but quickly looked down as she couldn't stand his intimidating aura. "I need you to look into the memory of a human." Damon replied going straight to the point. Dana furrowed her brow at what Damon had just asked her to do. It was something outrageous and forbidden for the witches. "It is forbidden for
Dana alongside with the ginger haired witch entered the dark dungeon and they were welcomed with the sight of a weak young lady chained. They couldn't see her face because her head was facing down. She looked weak and exhausted as if she wouldn't survive a day in this fiery pit. "Is this the infamous Margaux? She looked so weak." Lemuel was the first person to speak when they entered the dungeon. "Is it okay for him to chain her this way?" He added as they approached April, staring at the weak human before them as she whimpered in pain. April slowly raised her head when she heard his voice. She first caught the sight of the ginger haired witch then noticed a stunning young lady about her age beside him and by their looks, she could tell they weren't human like her. 'What are they? Are they also demons?' She asked herself inwardly. Then she began to wonder why the demon sent them here. This was the first time she would see other persons apart from the demon himself. Since she
Dana watched April as she was slowly drifting into sleep. She heard her scoff and mumbled some words before finally shutting her eyes. Dana touched her forehead only to see she was burning, her body were unpleasantly hot which made Dana wonder when Damon had actually abducted her and dumped her here. She could tell that the demon didn't feed her anything ever since he brought her here. No wonder she was so weak that she couldn't even stand on her own. In spite of how vulnerable she was, he still chained her in that dungeon. She knew she wasn't supposed to be sympathetic towards her judging by what she had done in the past but still, she was reborn as a human,he knew how weak she was, could he be this cruel? She stared at April's pale face, the thoughts of looking into her memory crossed her mind but she immediately brushed it off, now wasn't the right time to think about it, she told herself as she stood up to take her leave but then turned to look at the sleeping human. L
Connor walked into the living room and watched Damon sitting on the comfortable looking lounge chair by the window quietly staring out of the window. It was already near dusk and he knew it was a routine for Damon to sit on that lounge. He shook his head as he stood right beside him. "Dana has healed her wounds but she has a high fever and she needs to be treated." Connor reported the situation at hand. Damon eyes still didn't leave the window despite hearing what Connor had just said as though he didn't give a damn If the young lady dies and goes to hell where she initially belongs. "So?" He said lazily scratching his brows. "I was wondering if you could.......""Never!" Damon immediately cut in as if he knew what Connor was about to ask him to do. Connor wasn't surprised by Damon's immediate reply. What was he expecting? He knew Damon would never agree to it, it would only be weird if he agreed to it. "Then, permit me to bring Mr Jonathan here.""Was she badly hurt?" He asked.
Dana stood from where she was and left the room not replying Lemuel's question. The ginger haired witch could only sigh when she left the room leaving him alone with the witch turned human. She entered the living room and saw Damon sitting at the lounge chair by the window and as if he sensed her presence, he turned to look at her and gestured for her to sit which she did. "What did you see?" He asked as his voice echoed in the quiet house. "How could i possibly see something when you couldn't? You already knew her memories were hidden yet you still called me here, i doubt you called me here to confirm your suspicion. Why did you bring me here?" Damon sighed loudly as he heard her question. "So you couldn't see anything?" He asked as the corner of his lip curled into a smirk. Dana gritted her teeth when she heard his reply, he was obviously avoiding her question and she didn't know why she felt he just mocked her for not being able to look into Margaux's memor
[At Grey Forest ] Dana alongside Lemuel arrived the morgue to see the bodies that was found last night. The guards watching over the morgue bowed the moment they saw their Queen. They pushed the door open for her to enter. And as they entered the morgue, they met Penny the morgue-keeper. Her family had been watching over the morgue for ages, it was Penny's time to take over her family's job. She might look young but she knew things that even the elders doesn't, she had always been the smart one. Dana and Penny used to be friends while growing up, little Penny would always brag about how she would one day be the next morgue-keeper and her little self would be envious of her, that was before she was chosen to be the next Queen. After the oracle had chosen her to be the next Queen, they had a fall out and were no longer close like they used to, including Daisy who still accused her of stealing her dreams. Now that she thought about it, she wondered where Daisy is. Penny bowed at them a
Upon seeing April's bewildered expression, Margaux bursted into a convulsive, loud laughter. "What's with that look on your face?" She asked, her voice carrying a hint of mockery. "I thought by now, you should have known that i am you, and you are me." She added with a crook and insolent smile. April shook her head as she refused to believe the words Margaux had just said to her. "No. That can't be true." There was no way she was Margaux, there was... She strongly shook her head, no, she won't let those words get to her head. "I can never be you!" She said as she pushed Margaux away from her. With that, April woke up with a loud gasp as she almost choked out a breath. What sort of dream was that? She sat up and sighed as she moved the strand of her hair to the back of her ear thinking about the words Margaux said to her. "I am you, and you are me." She repeated those words as she sighed again. "This is so frustrating, why am i Margaux?" She shook her head as she stil
April found herself at Happy town, she looked around wondering how she got here. 'Is this a dream?' She asked herself as she could still vividly remember this place, where she was standing, it all happened here. She could see both adults and children hiding at the corner with their weapons, ready to attack anything that comes their way or maybe anyone. April knew what happened here, these people were going to get killed by her, the evil witch. What she saw at that black pot was repeating itself again in her dream, why? "The evil witch is here, run away!" They heard the shout of a man who was soon killed by Margaux. The little ones quivered at the sight of the evil witch while the adults drew out their weapons, ready to protect their loved ones from the infamous witch. Margaux approached them, deliberately dragging her sword and chanting some spells. She was ready to kill anyone that came her way, both adults and children. The adults bravely came out from thei
It had been so long since she last kissed him, it had been so long since she felt him this close to her. His kiss... his mouth, they taste so mindblowingly good. Lord, she missed him so much, she missed his scent, she missed his touch, his kiss, she missed everything about him. Connor gently nibbled on her bottom lip then hungrily glinded his tongue inside her mouth like a starved beast. His movements were savage, wild and consuming as though he was aiming to devour her whole, as though taking her breath was not enough. It was as if that earnest, deep and passionate desires he had for her had just been unleashed. He had longed for her, yearned for her and desperately wanted her back to him. Day by day, those feelings of longing consumed him, it was as if a part of him was missing, as if a part of him was incomplete but now, she was back to him. How badly he had missed her. Their kiss deepened and a shocking hunger exploded from within as Dana kissed him back as hard as she
[ At Grey Forest ] Dana stood beside the window side of her chamber blankly staring at the moon shimmering bright and giving beauty to the night. She could not even fall asleep knowing that the day to choose her spouse was coming, the full moon which was two days from now. She had tried to delay it but the elders kept insisting and it worried her people that she had no spouse at her age as it was their belief that a Queen ought to have a spouse whom she can rely on. If she tried to delay it again, her people might get wary of her and that was the last thing Dana ever wanted to happen. She had to prove to them that she was capable of ruling them and as a leader, she had to obey the customs and traditions. Dana sighed as there was nothing she could do to avoid the marriage. In two days time, a competition will be held among the young witches in Grey forest and the winner will be chosen as her spouse. The elders had already picked the candidates they think are eligible t
The thought that she might really be the one who hurt Damon and killed those people frightened her, they frightened her to her bones that she could never bring herself to accept his claim that she was the evil Margaux. Deep down, she wished she could just prove to him that she was different from the Margaux he knew in the past, she was different from the lady who caused him pain, she was different from the witch who committed many evil deeds. She also wished he would see her differently, not as the evil witch's reincarnation but as herself, as April Greene but would that ever happen? "What are you staring at?" Damon spoke in his usual unfriendly manner as he let go of her hand. "Let's go." He turned and left. April took a glance at the room one last time before she followed the demon and as she got to the living room, she heard him speak. "Don't look at the walls." "Why?" She inquired as she tried her best not to look at the walls like he said. "You could e
The twinkling stars and the dazzling full moon gave beauty to the dark sky. The cold wind blew like it was quarrelling with earth and the snow fell like rainfall but the moment the snow reached the ground, it turned scarlet as the land had turned into a pool of blood overlaid with dead bodies. On that beautiful night was heard clashing of swords and cries of anguish as more lifeless bodies fall to the ground, killed with no mercy. It was as though death had visited the normally peaceful town, and the oh-so beautiful night had become an unpleasantly horrific sight. At the center of these lifeless bodies, stood a young lady wearing a black cloak. The tip of her long black cloak was soaked with blood as she aggressively pulled out her sword from the last person she had just killed. It was evident that those dead bodies were single-handedly killed by her. The cold wind blew away her hoodie revealing her red curly hair. She slowly turned her head and with the look in her eyes, it was
The reason. . . . The reason why Margaux committed those evil deeds was to take revenge on those who killed her father, however, April could not understand why she had to destroy this town. According to Damon, this town was the only town who accepted her when she was rejected by her own people so why then did she destroy the town? Was that how much she had resented Damon? "Scared?" Damon questioned upon seeing that she had not moved an inch from where she was standing and how she looked lost in thoughts. Distracted from her thoughts, April slightly shook her head. "No." She answered as she looked at her hands which were still slightly trembling. Damon walked towards the entrance of the hut, he turned and looked at April, gesturing for her to come. She obediently came closer to where he was but the moment the demon opened the door and stepped into the hut, April involuntarily retracted. She did not even know how it happened but her body subconsciously stepped back and h
Damon turned and looked at her but his gaze shifted to her trembling hands, he could see how anxious and scared she was. "We are at your home." He replied, his gaze still fixed on her trembling hands. "M..m..my home?" "Yes, your home." Came his reply as he moved his gaze to her dumbstrucked face. "This was where you lived three hundred years ago, Margaux." April let out a low sigh as she hid her trembling hands from him. Now she understood why the demon had brought her here, he had brought her to where Margaux lived three hundred years ago so she could regain those said hidden memories of the past. She let out another sigh realising that she was probably scared for nothing, she was so sure she was not Margaux so there was no reason for her to feel this way, there was no reason for her to feel scared or guilty when she had not done anything wrong but her hands would not stop trembling no matter how hard she had tried to calm herself, she cussed inaudibly as she clenched her
