Raven's POV

My spy knelt before me, his head bowed low, trembling slightly as he delivered his report. Sending him to Luca's camp was the best decision I made. The light in my chamber was dim, and it gave me sharp satisfaction that he didn't recognise his master.

“Elara?” I repeated, my voice cold and calculating. “The Lunar Alpha?”

“Yes, Master,” the spy confirmed, his voice barely above a whisper. “I saw it with my own eyes during the training session. She... she lost control of her emotions. Her energy surged and... it killed the boy instantly. Two others were injured.”

I sat up on my ornate chair, steepling my fingers as I processed the information. “The people must have lost faith in her already. It would make my work easier. And what did Luca do?” I asked.

“Master, he lied,” the spy replied quickly. “He told the pack they were attacked by silent hunters. He’s hiding the truth to protect her.”

My lips curled into a sinister smile. “Of course, he would. He would sacrifice anythin

The night felt heavier than usual, as the thought of everything kept roaming in my mind. I can't deny I was finally catching up. I couldn’t shake the feeling that Elara could be ruined if anyone found out about her mistake. When I saw her struggle earlier, it hit me hard. She was more than just someone I cared about. She was someone I needed to protect, no matter the cost. I promised her mother to care for her and my emotions couldn't bear to see her hurt. Even after I sent Kael to handle the job of watching her, I would always go ahead to do it myself sometimes.I can't deny the fact that I loved her, she was reserved and I admired that. But I had to keep emotions aside and focus on what truly mattered. As I walked towards her cabin, the air was still, only the faint sound of footsteps on the gravel beneath us. The lanterns hanging from the trees swayed slightly, casting soft, flickering light on the path. “Here we are,” I said, my voice softer than usual as I opened the door to he

Raven's POV I couldn’t sit still. The Council of Elders were contemplating the same issue I brought up days back. They were having endless debates about Elara’s return which was annoying.I hated the fact I was amongst them. I wished I was the leader, I would have gotten rid of the sluggish ways. To them it was wise. Every one of them sat around, their wrinkled faces carved with hesitation, voices dull and full of doubt.I couldn't stand it anymore."We’ve waited long enough," I snapped, standing up so abruptly that the old oak chair behind me creaked under the force. "Every day, you sit here, talking in circles, doing nothing! We are the Council of Elders! We should act like it! We’ve been waiting for the Lunar Alpha’s return, and now it’s time we do something about it."The room fell silent, the weight of my words hanging in the air. I had their attention. The older woman at the head of the table, her long silver hair cascading over her shoulders, gave me a stern look. She knew I w

Elara’s POVThe sunlight found its way through the cracks in my cabin’s wooden walls, its warmth waking me from sleep. I blinked a few times, my mind slowly catching up to my body’s movements.I swung my legs over the side of the bed to test my ankle cautiously. Relief coursed through me as I stood upright and took a slow step.It was perfect. The morning air greeted me as I stepped outside the cabin, the scents of pine and dew filling my senses. I took a deep breath, savoring the tranquility, when suddenly—“Whoa!” I gasped, stumbling backward as I collided with someone.“Easy there,” Kael said, steadying me with a firm hand on my arm. His familiar smirk was in place, but there was something softer in his gaze.“I’m so sorry!” I stammered, taking a step back. “I didn’t see you there.”Kael raised an eyebrow. “No harm done, where have you been?” His tone was casual, but there was an edge of concern beneath it.I crossed my arms defensively, though I couldn’t suppress the small smile

Kael’s POVIt was quiet in the camp when we returned. We walked straight to the cabin and I handed the bag of firemoss to the healer, watching as he inspected it with a nod of approval.“Perfect,” he said, already turning toward his workstation. “This will do nicely.”Elara stood beside me, her gaze fixed on the children resting nearby. The healer began preparing the remedy, her expression softened into relief.I let myself watch her for a moment longer than I should have. The way her face lit up when she was at peace wasn’t something I could ignore, no matter how hard I tried.“Thank you for this Kael, for being there for me.” she said, her voice pulling me back to reality.I cleared my throat, stuffing my hands into my pockets. “It’s nothing. Just doing my job.”Her lips twitched into a small smile, but before I could say anything else, Luca walked into the room.“Elara,” he greeted, his voice warm as his eyes found her.Her smile widened at the sight of him, and some

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    The Dream Of The Wolf

Elara’s POVI finally stopped trying for the day. Luca was also exhausted. I felt Kael's absence. Maybe if he was around, he'd try to cheer me up. Probably break the rules with me. Luca showed concern, as my face looked pale. He held me up from where I sat, telling me to go back to my cabin and relax. I didn't want to be hard on myself again. I silently obeyed. I thanked him and walked away from the training ground. As I approached the cabin, I saw the parents of the injured boys going into the healer’s cabin and I thought I should check up on them too. I got in and saw that the boys were awake, but didn't say a word.Luca had already lied about the incident and I hoped the boys wouldn't remember. It was a great feeling, seeing that they survived. One of the boy's mothers noticed as I stood by a corner smiling.“ Alpha, we're looking up to you, our pack has suffered so much loss, we believe in you, I believe in you.” She said, urging me to come closer and talk to the boys too.I n

I got to the training ground. Trying to master my instincts again. Luca thought of giving me space since he had already told me the process. “ Maybe you just need some time alone, remember you have to remain calm,” he said, as he headed back to the camp. Kael, who stood from a distance, joined him. I made another attempt but to no avail. I walked towards a nearby river and sat on a large rock near the water, my arms wrapped around my knees as I stared into the dark ripples. I needed air after the frustrating session. No matter how hard I tried, I still couldn’t control my instincts. Luca had reassured me that it would come with time, I just had to remain calm. I didn't create room for doubts. Footsteps crunched against the dirt behind me. My shoulders tensed before I recognized the scent. Kael. He moved with quiet ease, his presence subtle yet impossible to ignore. “I thought you would need company,” he said as he stopped beside me. “ I knew I’d find you here as you weren’t

Raven Darkmoor’s POVOnce again I had to attend a meeting with the elders. Each step I took echoed in the silence, but I paid it no mind. I had walked this path too many times to care.Inside the council chamber, the air was thick with authority and the scent of burning incense. The Elders were already seated, seeing their faces made me sick. It seemed like the one filled with wisdom and strength but deep down I knew they were just old annoying folks. Their eyes turned to me as I entered, unreadable yet expectant. I was always the last elder to arrive at any meetings.Elder Rowan, the eldest and most revered among them, was the first to speak. His voice, rough like dry bark, filled the chamber.“The messenger had returned from Luca”s pack” he said. “He brought the feedback from Luca.”I met his gaze, unreadable. “Yes.”Elder Balthazar leaned forward, his large hands resting on the table. “ And we got the information you both were attacked by hunters.”A ripple of murmurs spread throu

Luca’s POV“Again.”My voice rang through the training grounds, firm and unwavering. The young wolves before me panted heavily, sweat glistening on their skin as they struggled to catch their breath. But I didn’t let up. Strength wasn’t built through comfort. It was forged through discipline.“Your stance is weak,” I told one of the boys, “A single misstep in battle could be the difference between life and death.”He nodded, his determination rekindling. Good.I turned to another, a young female werewolf who had hesitated during the last attack. “You second-guess too much. Trust your instincts.”She clenched her fists, frustration flashing in her eyes, but she nodded.I exhaled, watching them reset into position. They had potential, unrefined.Just as I was about to issue another round of drills, a scout burst into the training grounds, breathless and tense.“ Luca!”Immediately, I turned to him, my posture stiffening.“What is it?”“Hunters,” he panted. “They’ve ambushed one of our p

Elara's POV The night air was thick with the scent of damp earth and pine as I made her way toward the stronghold. The torches lining the pathways flickered in the wind, casting long shadows against the stone walls. It had been a long day—negotiations with the clan leaders, settling disputes, and reassuring the elders that the alliance would hold. And then there was Luca.I smiled to myself, remembering his teasing remark."If we had met in high school, you would have had a crush on me, right?"The memory made me chuckle. Luca was always so effortlessly charming. But my amusement faded as I neared the war chamber. The moment she stepped inside, she felt it.A shift in the air.Kael was there. He stood near the large wooden map table, his arms crossed over his broad chest, his golden eyes sharp as they settled on her. His expression was unreadable, but there was something stormy in his gaze.I hesitated. “Lyanna said you were looking for me. What’s wrong?”Kael didn’t answer right awa

Elara's POV The Eight Clans of the Moon were finally united. For the first time in centuries, werewolves of all bloodlines stood side by side under one banner. But I knew unity was only the first battle—the true war was still ahead.Raven would not sit idly by and accept his defeat. He was still out there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for his chance to strike back. And I needed to be ready.I called for a war council within the Lunar Stronghold, where the Eight Clans would discuss their next move. The leaders gathered around a massive stone table, maps and battle plans laid out before them.Kael stood at my right, his arms crossed. "We can’t sit and wait for Raven to attack. We need to take the fight to him."Lyanna nodded. "But we must be careful. If we rush in blindly, we risk losing everything we’ve built."The leader of the fifth clan, the cunning leader of the assassin clan, smirked. "I say we strike from the shadows. Let him feel the fear we have felt for years."The third c

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    The Journey To The Third Clan

Elara's POV My warriors and I had traveled for days, pushing through snow-covered landscapes and icy winds that cut like daggers. The Third Clan was the most isolated of the eight clans, living in the frozen wastelands of the north. Their warriors were strong, resilient, and unforgiving, shaped by the harsh environment that had become their home.I had heard the stories—how their ancestors had been abandoned in battle, left to fend for themselves while the Ninth Clan retreated. Now, I had to convince them to join her cause.Kael, walking beside me, pulled his fur-lined cloak tighter. "Are you sure they will listen?""No," I admitted. "But I won’t leave without trying."Lyanna exhaled, her breath visible in the cold air. "Then we better be ready for anything."As we neared the Third Clan stronghold, they saw figures on the cliffs above, watching our approach. The warriors of the Third Clan were clad in silver and white armor, their ice-blue eyes piercing through the snowstorm.Suddenl

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    United We Stand

Elara's POV After securing the allegiance of the Fifth Clan, I knew her next challenge would be even greater. The Fourth Clan, dwelling deep within the swamps, was the most elusive of all the werewolf clans. Their members were known for their secrecy and mastery of dark magic. Many considered them more myth than reality.Few who entered their lands returned, and those who did spoke of illusions, dangerous creatures, and whispers in the mist. But if I truly wanted to reunite the eight clans, I needed the Fourth Clan wolves on her side.I was accompanied by Kael, Lyanna, and a handful of warriors, set off toward the southern marshlands where the Fourth Clan resided. The journey was slow and treacherous. The deeper we ventured, the more unnatural the landscape became. Thick fog curled around the trees, shadows moved without a source, and distant whispers echoed through the air.Luca shuddered. "I don’t like this place. It feels… alive."Kael, ever the strategist, kept his hand on his we

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    A Call For Unity

Elara's POV The morning sun bathed the land in golden light as I stood atop a hill overlooking the First Clan’s stronghold. The battle against Raven and the hunters had been won, but the cost was heavy. Fields were scorched, homes reduced to rubble, and families mourned their fallen. The war had left scars, not just on the land but on the hearts of the werewolves.I clenched my fists, inhaling deeply as the cool breeze brushed against my skin. The air carried the scent of damp earth and the lingering echoes of battle, but beneath it all, there was something else, a whisper of hope.I turned to face the gathered warriors and council members. Luca stood at my right, his expression hard with resolve. Lyanna was nearby, her sharp gaze scanning the horizon, ever watchful. Kael, standing just behind me, radiated silent strength, his presence a constant source of reassurance.“The war is over,” I began, my voice clear and unwavering. “But our true battle has just begun.”Murmurs rippled t

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    The Fall Of The Hunters And Rise Of Peace

Elara’s POV The morning sun barely touched the horizon when I stood before my warriors, my people—my pack. The war had stretched for too long, costing lives, homes, and countless sacrifices. But tonight, it will end. I had spent weeks gathering every able warrior, scouting the lands, and hunting down the remnants of Raven’s forces. The hunters had plagued the werewolf clans for far too long, tearing through our numbers like a disease. Not anymore. Dressed in my battle leathers, I walked through the ranks of my warriors. Their eyes burned with the same fire that coursed through my veins. They believed in me. And tonight, we would reclaim our lands and restore the balance that Raven sought to destroy. I turned to Kael, who stood at my side. “Are they ready?” His silver eyes met mine. “They would follow you to the ends of the earth.” A slow exhale left my lips. I nodded, turning to face my army. “Tonight, we end this war.” A roar of approval filled the air as I raised my sword,

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    The Lunar Alpha Ordained

Elara’s POVThe morning was crisp, the sky painted in shades of deep blue and streaks of silver as I made my way to the Sanctuary of the Moon. This was where my journey would reach its final test—the last quest that would determine whether I was worthy of being ordained as the Lunar Alpha.I had faced trials that tested my strength, my will, and my loyalty. I had battled against fate itself, emerging victorious against enemies who sought to break me. And now, one final step remained. As I stepped onto the sacred ground, the Elders of the Council stood before me in a solemn line. Their robes fluttered gently in the morning breeze, their expressions unreadable.Lyanna stood among them, her gaze steady, but I could see the flicker of emotion in her eyes—pride, perhaps, or hope. The great silver moonstone stood tall in the center of the sanctuary, glowing faintly under the rising sun. It was said that only those chosen by the Moon Goddess could awaken its full power.“The final quest,” th

Then, she had endured the Moon’s Labyrinth—an ordeal that had crushed even the strongest werewolves before her.But she wasn’t just surviving. She was winning.A sharp growl rumbled in my throat. The so-called Lunar Alpha was growing stronger. Too strong.I tapped my fingers against the wooden table, my patience thinning. "She thinks she can defy fate." My voice was quiet, but the men standing before me flinched.“She has already passed two trials, my Lord,” one of my hunters muttered.I knew that already. That’s why I had to act, before she became unstoppable. With a slow smirk, I leaned forward. “Summon the sorcerer. A solemn hush filled the air as the Elders gathered, their expressions unreadable. Today, they would not test my mind. They would test my body, my strength, and my will to survive.Lyanna stood beside me, a soft yet firm presence in my periphery. She had guided me through understanding my first trial, but this… this was something I had to endure alone.“Do you know what awaits you?” she asked quietly.I swallowed hard but kept my voice steady. “Pain.”A flicker of something crossed her face—respect, maybe.
