Elara’s POV

I wasn't paying attention to her anymore. I was hurt by the fact she wanted to keep hiding. She didn't want me to find out she was my mother.

The roar of the waterfall was deafening, yet my mind was louder.

I stood at the edge, staring into the churning waters, my emotions tangled into a knot so tight I wasn’t sure I’d ever unravel them.

I was angry.

But at what?

At my mother for not telling me? At Luca for keeping the truth hidden as well? At the universe for making my life one endless series of secrets and half-truths?

I had spent years hoping to see her someday. I even thought that she was gone, or just a distant, unreachable shadow in my memories. Now, here she was, real and alive, yet she had chosen not to say a word.

I was breathing deeply as the cold mist from the waterfall clung to my skin.

I wanted to be furious. I wanted to scream.

But beneath all of that, there was a deeper ache, a longing I had buried so deep that even now, standing within reach of it, I was af

Elara’s POVThe night passed in a blur, my mind restless despite my body’s exhaustion. My emotions had settled, no longer as raw as they had been when I first confronted my mother. I had found her after all these years and she was alive, Miranda must be happy wherever she is. It stung that Miranda never had the chance to see her again, but I was done dwelling on the past. I had accepted the truth. And now, it was time to move forward.Dawn broke in hues of deep crimson and gold, casting warm light over the waterfall’s mist. I stood at the edge of the clearing, stretching, readying myself for what was to come. Today, I will begin training under my mother’s guidance. Today, I would learn to master my connection to the spirit world.I turned as Lyanna approached, her expression calm yet determined. Elara’s POVIt was a beautiful day as I stepped outside. I stepped outside, my boots crunching softly against the damp earth. A sense of peace settled over me as I inhaled the fresh scent of pine and morning dew. Last night, I had trained under my mother’s guidance, taking my first true step toward mastering my connection to the spirit realm. It had been exhilarating and terrifying all at once, but I was no longer afraid of my destiny.I was embracing it.I thought of getting some firewood inorder to help my mother prepare a meal and herbs for luca.A small smile tugged at my lips as I made my way into the forest, gathering firewood for the morning. It was a simple task, and I found a strange comfort in it. Maybe because, for once, I felt like I was doing something entirely on my own, without waiting for someone to do it for me.As I bent to pick up another log, my instincts heard a familiar sound of footsteps approaching. I didn’t need to turn around to know who it was.Kael."N

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    The Bond

Elara’s POVThe journey had been long and grueling. Days of constant vigilance, fighting off threats, and pushing forward with little rest had left us both drained. Today was different and for the first time in what felt like an eternity, we found a small village. “This village is under the Seventh Clan. They are not so bad, we'll keep our guards down and rest before restrategizing.” The village was small and tucked away between rolling hills and thick forest, hidden from prying eyes. The scent of freshly baked bread filled the air, blending with the crisp scent of pine. The werewolves here lived simply, tending to farms and livestock, and they welcomed us without question.Kael and I exchanged a glance as we walked through the village. For once, we weren’t scanning the shadows for danger. It felt strange, yet comforting. As we settled in a small, empty hut offered to us by an elderly woman, I let out a long breath. "It’s been a while since we’ve had an actual roof over our heads."

Kael’s POVThe village was still, wrapped in a quiet. It was the kind of silence that didn’t come from the absence of sound but from a rare sense of safety. It felt like a temporary haven.I wasn’t used to these moments, but I enjoyed spending it with Elara. For so long, my life had been an endless cycle of war, strategy, and survival. Even before this journey with Elara, I had always been fighting for peace and protection. Here I was sitting, beneath the soft glow of the moon, with nothing but the crackling fire and Elara’s presence beside me, I felt something foreign. Something unsettling.Peace.It wasn’t something I had ever allowed myself to embrace. Peace was fleeting, fragile, something that could be ripped away in an instant. I had learned long ago not to trust it. But tonight, for the first time in years, I wanted to hold onto it.Elara sat across from me, cross-legged on the ground, absently poking the dying embers of our fire with a stick. Her long, dark hair fell over

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    Dark Raven

Raven's POV The shadows of the night stretched long over the dark halls of my keep. The flames from the torches lining the stone corridors flickered uneasily, casting restless patterns on the walls. The air carried the scent of damp stone, burnt wood, and the faintest trace of iron, a lingering reminder of the battles fought within these walls.I was used to waiting. Used to the silence of the hunt, the patience of a predator biding its time before striking. But this silence was different. This was the silence of failure.I stood near the grand window of my chambers, looking out over the dense, moonlit forest that stretched beyond the castle grounds. My hands tightened behind my back as the frustration inside me clawed at my restraint. The Lunar Alpha was still missing. My spies, my messengers, even my most skilled trackers, none had found her.I clenched my jaw. It had been weeks, and yet the most powerful alpha to walk this land had vanished like smoke. Impossible. No one simply di

Shadows twisted and curled like dying serpents, their inky tendrils dissipating into the night as I stood amidst the carnage. Its soulless black eyes glowed with malice, its twisted form shifting between smoke and flesh. But I did not flinch.I raised my hand, feeling the power of the moon surge through me. The soft glow of the moon bathed the clearing where we had stopped, and all was still except for the slow, labored breathing of the woman lying before me.I knelt beside her, my hands trembling as I traced the bruises on her wrists—remnants of the shackles that had bound her for far too long.
