Kael’s POV

The village was still, wrapped in a quiet.

It was the kind of silence that didn’t come from the absence of sound but from a rare sense of safety.

It felt like a temporary haven.

I wasn’t used to these moments, but I enjoyed spending it with Elara.

For so long, my life had been an endless cycle of war, strategy, and survival.

Even before this journey with Elara, I had always been fighting for peace and protection.

Here I was sitting, beneath the soft glow of the moon, with nothing but the crackling fire and Elara’s presence beside me, I felt something foreign. Something unsettling.

Peace.

It wasn’t something I had ever allowed myself to embrace. Peace was fleeting, fragile, something that could be ripped away in an instant. I had learned long ago not to trust it. But tonight, for the first time in years, I wanted to hold onto it.

Elara sat across from me, cross-legged on the ground, absently poking the dying embers of our fire with a stick. Her long, dark hair fell over

Raven's POV The shadows of the night stretched long over the dark halls of my keep. The flames from the torches lining the stone corridors flickered uneasily, casting restless patterns on the walls. The air carried the scent of damp stone, burnt wood, and the faintest trace of iron, a lingering reminder of the battles fought within these walls.I was used to waiting. Used to the silence of the hunt, the patience of a predator biding its time before striking. But this silence was different. This was the silence of failure.I stood near the grand window of my chambers, looking out over the dense, moonlit forest that stretched beyond the castle grounds. My hands tightened behind my back as the frustration inside me clawed at my restraint. The Lunar Alpha was still missing. My spies, my messengers, even my most skilled trackers, none had found her.I clenched my jaw. It had been weeks, and yet the most powerful alpha to walk this land had vanished like smoke. Impossible. No one simply di

Kael’s POVThe Village we were based in was attacked by hunters, Elara and I fought relentlessly. We had to defend them, give them hope, and fight alongside their warriors. The battlefield was littered with bodies, the scent of blood thick in the air. Finally it was over. We had won. But my gaze wasn’t on the fallen hunters or the victorious pack. It was on Elara.Who fought skillfully, defeating every one of the hunters. She was in the middle of it all. She was breathing hard, her chest rising and falling, eyes glowing with a fierce light. There was something terrifyingly beautiful about her at that moment. A warrior. A leader. A true Alpha. And I hated it.Not because she wasn’t worthy of the title, of course she was. But because every time I saw her like this, I felt the pull grow stronger. That damn pull that refused to let me go.I loved her the most. She turned, and our eyes met. For a heartbeat, the chaos around us faded.“Kael,” she called, her voice steady despite the exha

Their renewed efforts and relentless attack impressed me. but at the same time I would have to fight or escape them because they didn't know me. “Stand down, I am not here to fight,” I said.Their movements were calculated, precise. They weren’t amateurs. That much was clear.Still, they didn’t know who they were dealing with.“Stand down. I am not here to fight,” I said again, my voice low and measured. But hesitation was not in their nature. The first one lunged, claws slicing towards my throat. I sidestepped effortlessly. They were fast. But not fast enough. I sighed. Then I managed to escape them. Kael's POV.Since the celebration the previous day. I kept ignoring Elara. It didn't make any sense. We had planned to continue our journey from the village, but the leader thought it would be best to gather a little information from the camp the hunters based before attacking the village. He was right, it's better to start from somewhere. We found their camp and searched for any clue or information. The only thing we found was a piece of letters. They were hiding their tracks. We headed back to the village to prepare for the journey ahead. Elara curiosity keyed in.She asked the leader of the village to teach her some of his moves, which he was delighted to do.I couldn't argue with her. We weren't talking.I regretted my actions the previous night, I shouldn’t have kissed her intimately and told her we couldn't be together the next day. I watched Elara as she moved across the training ground, sweat glistening on her skin, her expression fierce. She was pushing herself harder than

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    Love Begins

Elara’s POVThe forest was quiet except for the sound of leaves crunching beneath my boots. I kicked at them absently, watching the dry, curled edges scatter ahead of me like tiny boats on a river of dirt. The sun filtered through the trees, golden and soft, but it did nothing to ease the tension clinging to the air.We weren't talking to each other. We were alone and the fact he kissed me, letting my emotions flow and leaving me alone for tradition sake still got me mad at him.He walked beside me, stiff and silent. He had been like this ever since we left the village. He didn’t look at me, didn’t acknowledge my presence. We just marched forward like a man on a mission, like I wasn’t right there next to him.I sighed loudly, kicking another pile of leaves, this time, a little harder. Some of them flew up and hit Kael’s leg. He still didn’t react.Maybe I was seeking his attention.I just wanted him to say something.Great. He was going to ignore me forever.I glared at the back of

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    A Message From Beyond

Luca’s POVMy eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the dim light filtering through the entrance of the cave. I inhaled deeply, expecting the usual sharp pain in my side, but then to my surprise, it had dulled significantly.I glanced down at my bandaged wound, noticing that my body was fighting off the poison, the sickly heat that had burned through me now reduced to a faint hum.I flexed my fingers, testing my strength. It felt like the worst had passed."You’re awake," the voice was a calm, familiar voice. Of course I lived with Lyanna.I turned his head to see Elara’s mother, kneeling beside me with a bowl of fresh herbs. Her face, though gentle, was lined with exhaustion."I applied more medicine while you slept," she said, carefully placing the bowl down. "You’re healing faster than I expected."I propped himself up on one elbow, wincing slightly. "It’s thanks to you. I owe you my life."She waved a hand dismissively. "No life is owed to me, only fate deciding what path we walk."I

  • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    Survivors

Luca’s POVThe forest was eerily silent as we moved through the dense underbrush, our footsteps barely making a sound against the damp earth. The weight of what was coming pressed against my chest like an iron chain. Every step we took carried us closer to the unknown, to whatever remnants of our pack had survived.Elara’s mother walked beside me, her pace steady despite her age. There was a quiet determination in her movements, a resolve that had not wavered since we left the cave. She had told me she wouldn’t be here much longer, yet she moved as if she carried the strength of a hundred lifetimes. The sky above was a deep shade of violet, the first hints of dawn stretching across the horizon. It was the perfect time to travel—before the hunters stirred, before the creatures of the night disappeared into their hiding places.Still, an unease settled in my bones.Something was watching us.I slowed my steps, my hand instinctively resting on the dagger strapped to my side. • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    The First Clan

Alpha Dorian’s POV The council chamber was silent, save for the crackling fire in the massive hearth. Shadows danced along the stone walls, their flickering shapes as restless as the warriors gathered before me. I stood at the head of the long table, my fingers pressed against the polished wood as I surveyed my advisors, each a leader in their own right, each bearing the weight of our clan’s future. The First Clan had ruled these lands long before any of the lesser packs had risen to power. We were the foundation of the werewolf legacy, the guardians of our kind’s true strength. And now, that legacy was being threatened. My patrol had reported Luca was in our territory. He wasn't with the Lunar Alpha. At Least I knew he wasn't dead after all. I despised him. He was so full of himself. “The survivors are regrouping,” I said, my voice calm but laced with steel. “Luca has found them.” A low murmur spread through the room. None of them were surprised. Elara's POV Finally, Peace ReignedThe land, once drenched in blood and shadow, now shimmered under the soft light of the moon. • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    The End Of Darkness

Elara’s POVThe battlefield was drenched in blood and moonlight, the air thick with the scent of ash and death. Shadows twisted and curled like dying serpents, their inky tendrils dissipating into the night as I stood amidst the carnage. My body ached, my muscles screamed, but I didn’t stop.I couldn’t stop. The Shadowborn had plagued our kind for too long. They had taken too much—our homes, our people, our future. I had vowed to end them, and now, that promise would be fulfilled.A low growl echoed through the ruined valley as the last of Raven’s creatures lunged toward me. Its soulless black eyes glowed with malice, its twisted form shifting between smoke and flesh. But I did not flinch.I raised my hand, feeling the power of the moon surge through me. My veins pulsed with silver fire, my claws shimmering as I met the creature head-on. With one swift movement, I tore through it, my energy colliding with its essence. The night stretched endlessly, but my mind wasn’t in the physical realm—it was drifting beyond, into the veil of the spirit world.A dark force tugged at me, a pull I couldn’t ignore. Elara’s POVThe night air was thick with tension as Kael and I moved swiftly through the dense forests surrounding the First Clan’s stronghold. The tall spires of the stone fortress loomed ahead, dark and imposing against the moonlit sky. My heart pounded in my chest, not from fear, but from the anticipation of what was to come.Luca.Once my closest friend, now a prisoner of his own choices. He had betrayed me because of his emotions, which gave Raven a chance, stood against me when I needed him most. And yet, despite everything, we were here to save him.Kael moved beside me, silent but alert. His presence was a steady force, grounding me in the chaos that brewed inside me. “Are you ready for this?” he murmured.I exhaled, gripping the daggers at my belt. “I don’t know. • ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA    The Reunion Of Light

Elara's POV The night air was cool, carrying the scent of damp earth and healing herbs. The soft glow of the moon bathed the clearing where we had stopped, and all was still except for the slow, labored breathing of the woman lying before me.I knelt beside her, my hands trembling as I traced the bruises on her wrists—remnants of the shackles that had bound her for far too long. My mother—who had once been so strong, so fearless—now lay before me, fragile and exhausted. Yet, even in her weakened state, her silver eyes, identical to mine, held warmth, relief, and something else.Love.A lump formed in my throat. I had dreamt of this moment for months, of the day I would see her again, but not like this—not broken and battered.Taking a shaky breath, I placed my hands gently over her wounds. A soft silver glow radiated from my fingertips, warm and soothing. The power of the moon surged through me, flowing into her, knitting torn flesh, dissolving bruises, easing pain. She gasped as the

Raven’s POVThe room was suffocating with silence. Not the kind that brought peace, but the kind that smothered, thick with unspoken rage. The moment I sensed it—felt the severance of my connection to the Shadowborn—I knew.Elara had escaped.A single word echoed in my mind, ringing like a war drum.Unacceptable.My fingers clenched around the arms of my throne, dark power crackling through my veins. The flickering torches along the chamber walls burned lower, their flames bending unnaturally under the force of my fury.I turned my gaze to the trembling guard kneeling before me. He had dared to deliver the news.“They... they are gone, My Lord,” he stammered, his forehead pressed against the cold stone floor. “We lost them in the trees.”Lost them?I let the words settle, my grip tightening. Elara’s POVThe night stretched before us like a never-ending abyss, filled with uncertainty and the weight of what we were about to do. The Lunar Territory was where Raven conquered. It has turned into dangerous places in the realm, and it was where Raven had taken Lyanna. She was trapped there, locked away in a prison built for those who dared to defy him.We couldn’t leave her behind.Sitting by the dim fire in our temporary hideout, Kael and I studied the map spread between us, the lines and markings glowing faintly under the flickering flame. The stronghold was heavily guarded, its towering walls nearly impenetrable. Getting inside wouldn’t be easy—but it wasn’t impossible.Kael exhaled sharply, rubbing his temples. “Even if we do get past the outer walls, we’ll still have to face the elite guards inside. They won’t hesitate to kill us.”I traced the path on the map with my fingers, calculating the risks. “We can’t go in with brute force. It would be suicide. But if we move like
