I could see it in their eyes as I walked past, they didn’t think I was worthy of being here, much less of a higher rank. Keeping my head held high, I refused to show any weakness.
As we neared a sign that signaled training field C, I looked among the warriors currently sparing, hoping for a glimpse of Eva. I saw her bright blonde hair flash in the sunlight before disappearing behind another body and made a line straight for her. Getting closer I realized the reason I hadn’t really seen her for more then a flash was because she was sparing. But her opponent was more than double her size.
