Chapter 74

Tyrone's eyes remained indifferent as he hummed in response.

Heather's pupils quivered. So, he had been acting all along.

"We know everything. Are you going to deny meeting Mr. Greg?" Caleb's usual politeness had vanished, replaced by a chilly demeanor.

Heather remained silent.

Still holding her waist with one arm, Tyrone picked up the small bottle from the coffee table and tossed it to Caleb.

Caleb instinctively caught it, but he was slightly bewildered. "Mr. Elkin, this is—"

"The drug that Greg gave her," Tyrone replied coldly.

"What?"

The drug was in Heather's possession. Tyrone's words seemed to imply that Heather had handed it over willingly.

The situation had taken a turn far beyond Caleb's expectations. He looked at Heather in astonishment. She hadn't intended to harm Tyrone after all.

Greg was resourceful and generous. Yet, Heather, despite her poverty, hadn't wavered.

"What are you thinking?" Tyrone lowered his eyes to Heather, who remained silent in his arms.
