Chapter 76

Losing a son is worst than dying, that is what every mother says after losing a beloved son. A parent should never bury their children, it should be the other way around. Now, that pain is all that Mrs. Higgins can think about. For her, no matter how old Andrew grew up, he's still the little boy that she used to tuck in bed at night.

-Flashback-

It's well after New Year when seven year old Andrew fell ill. Mrs. Higgins noticed his tiredness since New Year's Eve, but he somehow got better after taking some aspirin. However, three days after, he can no longer get out of his bed.

He sleeps all day, and he didn't want to eat. The only food he wants is his mother's mushroom soup. No maid can make him eat, or even sit on his bed, he only wants his mother.

"Honey, you still didn't want to eat? If you won't eat, we will be forced to take you to the hospital." Mrs. Higgins said while standing by her son's bedroom door.
