Chapter 1

*Navya Pov*

"Can you believe it Divya? I finally got it. I am so happy." I shouted, laughing while holding the phone to my ear.

I saw people on the street looking at me like I am crazy, but I ignored them completely because I am so happy.

"That's great Navya! And by the way, I can hear even if you say it in a low tone." She said.

"Sorry!" I said sheepishly and started talking to her about her day.

When I finally reached my house, which is completely on the corner of the street, I saw some big car parked in front of my house.

"So party?" Divya asked when I opened the gate.

"Yeah! You just come home, and I will cook some specials for you." I replied smiling.

"Navya! Please I know that you're amazing at that, but I want the party as in a real party. Let's go clubbing!" This time she shouted.

"Clubbing? No way! I never went there, and I am not planning to go there." I said walking towards the door.

"There is always a first time for everything." She said, and I am sure she must be rolling her eyes.

"Hey! I will talk to you later. I just reached my home." I said, hanging up the phone.

I just looked up to find someone coming outside with a cold look on his face. I observed even more and by the time he reached near me, I am sure who he is.

"Excuse me?" he asked without looking at me then I realized that I am on his way.

"Hey! You are Suhas right?" I asked him and then he looked at me.

For one second, he looked shocked looking at me, and then he composed himself, saying, "You are... Navya right?"

"The one and only." I said smiling.

"You just look like her." he mumbled with a frown.

"Everyone says the same thing. Where did you disappear? I didn't see you for these two years." I asked him.

"Just busy!" he replied shrugging.

"Did you meet Di? She must be so happy after meeting her best friend." I said excitedly.

His face suddenly turned completely hard, and he just snorted saying, "Totally!"

With that, he stepped beside me and left the house without turning back at least once. What's wrong with him? I thought, frowning.

I shrugged and went inside opening the doors slowly. Then I saw both Mom and Dad along with Di and also my favorite person is there, sitting on the couch with frowns on their faces.

"What happened to you four? Anyway, if you hear this news you all will be so happy." I said beaming.

"What news, Navya?" Jiju asked, smiling at me.

"I got promoted!" I replied jumping.

"Stop jumping, Navya. You are 22 and don't forget that." Mom scolded.

"I am not 22. I am going to be 22 and there are still a few months left." I said frowning.

"She is right! And don't scold my daughter like that." Dad said finally coming out of the trance.

"So Navya? What do you want now for this wonderful news?" Jiju asked coming near me.

"I don't want anything. Now I will get more salary right then I will buy something for all of you." I replied side hugging him.

"Rajeev! I still don't get. Why is she not working in our company itself?" Mom asked Jiju.

Jiju laughed and said, "She told me that already Dad, Kavya and I work in our company right. So if she joins it, then the company will become some family package and not working place."

They all laughed except Kavya Di, and I hit him on his shoulder because that was my secret. He smiled and kissed on my forehead.

Di married him two years back, and now he is nothing but our family. He is very protective of me, and I love him like my big brother.

"Di! What happened? Why are you like this?" I asked her confused.

At the same time, both Mom and Dad went inside calmly. Then I felt Jiju tensing beside me.

"Nothing Navvu! Don't worry about her. Now tell me how did your cruel boss let this happen?" Jiju asked and I immediately got distracted.

"I too got shocked when she told me I am getting a promotion. I mean this whole year she was always slaving me and nothing else. But now I am free from her clutches." I replied.

"I will go and take some rest." Kavya Di suddenly said.

Jiju nodded, and she left the room. I stared at her retreating figure and Jiju in confusion.

"Did you both get into a fight?" I asked him frowning.

"Something like that." He replied, sitting on the couch, and I followed his suit.

"Then go and talk to her immediately. I can't let my perfect couple have any problems." I said, pulling him up and pushed him towards his room.

I went inside my room and got freshened up. Then I left my room to go in the kitchen and saw that dinner is not prepared. And to my surprise, everyone locked themselves inside their room.

I decided not to disturb them and started cooking some dinner for all of us. Jiju and Di always stay at our home at least two days a month for these past two years.

Jiju is actually the managing director in my Dad's company. His company is not that big, but we live a good life, and I think that is more than enough.

After preparing normal dishes I knocked on both the doors and sat on the table. A few minutes later, they all came and sat calmly.

"Guys! I know something happened and I already know you guys are not going to talk to me like always. But at least have your food with which you guys can hide so much more with all the strength you may gain by eating." I said getting up in a serious tone, or at least, I tried.

"Oh my god! My Navvu is growing up so fast." Jiju said, placing his hand on his heart.

"Jiju! I am trying to be serious here." I said pouting.

He laughed and started eating his food along with everyone. Dad and Mom left after I told them then, I would clean everything.

I saw that Di is still sitting there numb. I shook my head and went inside the kitchen and brought the small size cake I made especially for them.

"Look Di and Jiju! I know that I shouldn't come in between you both but you guys are important for me. So end this fighting soon and be happy." I said, placing the cake in front of them.

After that, I went inside the kitchen and started clearing the dishes. After that, I came outside and saw both feeding the cake to each other smiling.

I walked out of the room calmly and entered mine. I am happy that they return to normal now.

They are a completely ideal couple for me, and I wish when I have someone in my life, then we both will also be like that.

I smiled and lay down on the bed to let sleep consume me.

*Suhas Pov*

"I will ruin you all." I still don't know why I told them that after knowing the truth, but I will not back down from my words.

How dare them to make me some fool for these two years? I thought and threw the glass at the wall with the hurt, they caused me.

"Suhas! What happened?" My Mom Devi asked entering the room.

"Nothing, Mom!" I replied, cleaning my face to clear the traces of tears.

"I saw you after two long years Suhas, and you are acting like you are not in this world. I wish you tell me soon what actually happened." Saying this she left the room.

"I had to stay away from my mom for all these days just because of them. I worked like a dog each day and night just because of them. I will not leave them alone." I said each word looking at the broken glass.

Then I remembered something from today's encounter. Navya! It is her name right.

"You just look like her!"

"Everyone says the same thing."

She just looks like her, and I smiled with satisfaction because I know what to get. I am going to get my revenge for sure, and they will wish that they didn't witness the day two years back.
