Warren replied, "I miss her too, but she doesn't want to see me. What do we do, Bailey? She doesn't want us anymore. What do we do?"

He spoke softly, and his voice was rough from being exhausted.

His eyes glowed with indescribable pain.

Bailey seemed to have understood his words. The dog bit the man's pants and pulled him toward the exit.

"Bailey, what are you doing?"

Bailey barked at him a few times and continued pulling Warren toward the exit.

Only then did Warren understand what Bailey was trying to say.

He wanted to see Evelyn.

Warren hesitated momentarily before crouching down and stroking Bailey's neck. In a deep voice, he ordered, "Go keep her company. She's in a bad mood lately, so take care of her for me, okay?"
